The kind of player that has lost his way at a club and the kind of player that Rodgers likes to bring in and rehabilitate. Get on with it then Brendan. This is what you keep telling us you're so good at. 2

AjcW Posted 3 September 2022 Posted 3 September 2022 (edited) Brunt has just dropped out of the 23’s minutes before kick off. Do we think we’ve got another CB injury or Dan just decided he’s too ill to travel last minute? Or Cags has gone to Gala? Edited 3 September 2022 by AjcW

jim5000 Posted 3 September 2022 Posted 3 September 2022 There is no way Brodge is going to drop Ward. He just won’t do it, Ward is now his #1 1

KFS Posted 3 September 2022 Posted 3 September 2022 First win gets us out of the drop zone. No bigger motivator. ****ing win it Leicester. 1

I think there has to be some new thinking about the shape of attack (we need to talk about Vardy) I'm not sure what that means in practice. Perso, I'm going to be paying close attention to what Rodgers says after the match, particularly if we don't get a result. I'm teetering on my fence post and words of blame will be enough to push me off (again) I think Faes will start, we have nothing to lose by playing him ,it might be wglhat the team needs right now a fresh face
FoxinNotts Posted 3 September 2022 Posted 3 September 2022 Win this and we’ll be alright for the season. The game is that big, in terms of the players psychology

This is what you keep telling us you're so good at. Indeed. I'd not really thought of it like this before but Cags really is a prime example of why Rodgers is wrong for this club. There's a word I'm looking for but it's gone.

harpendenfox Posted 3 September 2022 Posted 3 September 2022 Insanely, after getting home at 1.30am after Thursday evening's game, and listening to Brendan's rubbish, and seeing us bottom of the table with a miserable single point, I'm looking forward to hopping onto the train with my son tomorrow and heading to Brighton. Last time I went there we played them off the park for 20 minutes, eventually winning 2-0. That was back in the autumn of 2019. Jeez we were wonderful for a while back then. Hope springs eternal. 1

Can't see him being left out. We're also stuck with Thomas for weeks too given Rodgers' post game comments after the Man U game.
