Nacho and Barnes upfront is a good link up and Maddison roaming is a flexible trio. Ndidi with Soumare on the right and KDH on the left looks a good combination and so long as he has clearance, Faes slots in ahead of Amartey. 2
ARM1968 Posted 2 September 2022 Posted 2 September 2022 There’s gonna be a riot - except there’s not really because no one can actually be arsed. Just stumble in our apathy to the next tragic performance. 1
GingerrrFox Posted 2 September 2022 Posted 2 September 2022 Ward JJ Evans Faes Thomas Soumare Ndidi Maddison KDH Vardy Barnes
An Sionnach Posted 2 September 2022 Posted 2 September 2022 The optimists will be predicting victory on Sunday morning , they always do. Anything could happen , a penalty , a sending off and we are not that bad - yet. A ground out draw would be a fair result , I think most would be happy with that.

Pliskin Posted 2 September 2022 Posted 2 September 2022 Potter will tactically have Gollum, sorry, Brendans pants round his ankles.
Gazza M Posted 2 September 2022 Posted 2 September 2022 Interested to see if Faes starts straight away. Assuming he is fit and up to speed. It would be a key indication to whether Brendan is happy with his signing for me. If we get Ndidi again something is very wrong.
StanSP Posted 2 September 2022 Posted 2 September 2022 Should be this: Iversen Castagne - Faes - Evans - Justin Soumare KDH - Maddison - Barnes Vardy - Iheanacho Most likely, to our disdain, will be: Ward Castagne - Amartey - Evans - Justin Ndidi - Tielemans KDH - Maddison - Barnes Vardy Vardy will have about 10 touches all game, all outside the box. He'll be starved of service. We'll play it comfortably around their box, restricted to long-distance shots. Amartey will be the cause of a howler and a mix-up between he and Ward. Ndidi will get sent off for 2 bookings. Faes sat on the bench all game with the defence on the pitch looking like Sunday League footballers. We'll concede from a corner - Lewis Dunk probably. Rodgers will bring on Daka with about 10 minutes to go. Maddison will be subbed off even though he's the only one doing anything. Post-game, Rodgers will go on about lack of transfers again, whilst stating that the players chosen aren't doing enough and the players on the bench, ironically, weren't also doing enough to get on the pitch. 1
st albans fox Posted 2 September 2022 Posted 2 September 2022 Given that vards couldn’t play three games a week last season, why are we expecting him to start on Sunday ??? 1

Can’t see how that happens unless Madders plays centrally and Vardy either gets a mate alongside him or makes way. Other than that, I think any changes are almost irrelevant. The confidence of the team has been knocked out of them by BR,
Sir Shep Posted 2 September 2022 Posted 2 September 2022 People thinking Iverson will play . It'll be a couple of changes if that, a formation selected to make it as easy as possible for Brighton to play so long as we can pass around the back and a personal instruction to all players reminding them to put their boots on the wrong feet again. Oh and what ever you do, try not to score, if you do make sure we allow them to come on to us, FFS this is really important, I need a new conservatory on my Cheshire mansion so I need the pay off, right lads.
Dahnsouff Posted 2 September 2022 Posted 2 September 2022 If Vardy starts it will be another poor piece of judgement. Diamond with Kel and Daka up top. @StanSP knows, although he seems to have had the cheek to play Soumare as CDM again whilst Wilf is not in defence, so could play in his ordained position (Must say I agree with that as Bouba was alright last time I thought)
l444ry Posted 2 September 2022 Posted 2 September 2022 As long as he drops his putrid 4-3-3 that would be an improvement for me. Fed up to the back teeth of watching Vardy, Nacho or Daka completely isolated and the two wide men stuck out so wide they seem to be in different postcodes. Think I'll take a book to read just in case he does.
Unabomber Posted 2 September 2022 Posted 2 September 2022 He might as well go all out attack for his last game. 433 Ward Castagne Evans New guy Justin KDH Soumare Maddison Daka Vardy Iheanacho

Soumare deserves the start imo. Got nothing against Ndidi, but sometimes players needs a bit of time away from the poor form. (granted he did okay at CB last night). 1
