I saw a fox on my drive home from the airport just now...taking it as a good omen! Come on Leicester!

That's your opinion. There are more than just a few people who thought Thomas did OK. Me included.

everyone moaning about wing backs not getting forward then throw toys out of the pram because Thomas out of position.

what happened to players covering that position. its a team game we are not a team.

If it had just been run over the analogy would be spot-on.

Perhaps think of this as a cup game- PSV away. Most importantly need to remain positive even if we get an early setback and plan a team and substitutes that can play full on for 95 minutes.

Must win, lets try something different Daka & Nacho to start up top

Vardy better from 70min whrn gane is stretched.

He is too isolated in first 70.  Nacho and daka would be a positive choice today

Think this will be interesting. Will Brendan finally put the ‘distraction’ of the transfer window behind him, or will he double down on trying to get the sack?

Can’t see us winning, but stranger things have happened and we need it.

Ndidi at CB doesn’t fill me with much confidence tbh, I would rather play Cags at the back. Brighton will get joy for sure with our defense as a collective whole, only positive is two strikers upfront would have preferred Kelechi and Vardy but Kelechi and Daka should be okay, and hopefully they can combine to get a goal or two.

Thomas goes back more than 90% of the time , even our midfield attacking players who receive the ball in space refuse to turn and go forward , would rather pas it straight back , how the hell are u going to score playing back most of the game . Thing is when we do decide to go forward we look good , but then our forward movement across the front line means we don’t create anything. Believe it all comes back to the manager

Said it countless times, Thomas is a rabbit in headlights going forward, and never makes the overlapping run to take a player away from Barnes. It’s that painful it even makes me miss Jordan Stewart.

But he was playing as a full back? Not a wing back. Played in a 4? So that's no excuse. His positional play is awful.

I went through this in another thread, it was what Rodgers had us working on in pre-season and Thomas was doing as Rodgers wanted.

Playing as an inverted wing back/full back/left back etc., pushing forward past Barnes on the inside to create a narrow overload.

The issue wasn’t Thomas doing that, it was seemingly that Rodgers had made no plans for anyone to cover the space being left by him or by JJ on the right.

Pre season he was working on that with a back 5. Once Ricky P got injured that scuppered his plans. Thomas even when going forward was terrible. He was supposed to be a full back not a wing back vs Man U. He was caught in no man's land more than once and you cannot excuse that.
