Blue ROI Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 (edited) Disgraceful. I have zero confidence in the club with him around. Edited 28 May 2023 by Blue ROI 4
Eskay Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 Looked like such a naive kid when he's dishing out high 5s when we score. Its like he didn't realise that we needed something to go out way in the Everton game 1

This just feels like a publicity stunt and another cash-grabbing opportunity, and makes him look increasingly out of touch, which was previously thought to be impossible. There is a real disconnect between the board, including Top, and the fanbase. I mean, the damage is probably done now, but he can at least show that he has some common sense and doing what's most important for the club rather than participating in some pretentious competition that means absolutely nothing. If its paying big dollar, we probably wont have much choice.
les-tah Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 (edited) So angry with Top - this is all on him. He cant sell the club because its worth nothing atm so at least sack Rudkin whelan and co. Edited 28 May 2023 by les-tah 1

kingston_fox Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 Yeah... Way out of his depth considering how much emotional attachment is given to the club. Best he sells up, heads back to the safety of his money and lives his life out.
Fox85 Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 I hope he sells the club now and we can move on with a owner that wants to compete at the highest level. All down to him this is.
Your Honour Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 He’s let the club down massively and it’s going to cost him a fortune. And I’m glad.
Mendi Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 (edited) Brendan Rodgers, Top, Jon Rudkin and Susan Whelan must share the bulk of the responsibility. Top has to do the right and sell up for the best of the club. Edited 28 May 2023 by Mendi
lgfualol Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 Dont trust him for the rebuild, he'll keep the failure of a board around for sure. Disaster.
Paninistickers Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 Just now, Your Honour said: He’s let the club down massively and it’s going to cost him a fortune. And I’m glad. This is it. It hurts us emotionally but three things happen to him now A) he sells the club B) he refunds the parachute money himself costing him 90m of his own money Ç) we go bankrupt
Lambert09 Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 The problem is more rudkin than Top though. I’m all for having a hands off chairman… afterall he has no real football experience. But you need a DOF who does know what they are doing. The investment is still there… that’s his main job… the rest… well that’s supposed to be down to the DOF. He needs to get rid of rudkin and make a good move but everything else… i’m fine for him to stay away from 3
Quorndon_Fox Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 Get a ****ing grip, we probably wouldn’t be here if the family hadnt written off the debts they have. We take the rough with the smooth and move on. 2 1
ARTY_FOX Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 You've just got to hope and pray he's learned from his mistakes but don't expect any real changes sadly. The main culprits doing a self assessment won't see any change.

tom27111 Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 Get the **** out of my club. You're a businessman (only because your father was), he was quite good, you aren't. You don't have a clue. Fvck off.
