The best thing about this is that it isn't even true. We aren't too nervous with them playing out from the back, we are bored shitless with the endless passing around the back.

First game this season I've stayed at home and not gone.

 

You could hear our fans supporting the team throughout the game. 

 

Just more bullshit.

While he wasn’t on the pitch for the first 4(?) goals today I can’t not be anxious watching Amartey try to pass out of defence, treating the ball with all the comfort of a hot potato or hand grenade.

 

Even Evans has started playing balls cautiously behind players, typically balls played out to Harvey going out for a throw or bouncing off his heel. Wilf is a limited passer and always has been, playing him deeper means any mistakes are more serious than on the half way line. As for Ward, if in doubt kick it out ffs, no-one scores from row Z.

 

A lot of pressure of whatshisface Wousi Fais being comfortable on the ball.

 

There are too many mistakes because they’re being involved too often, if passing isn’t their thing why build a game around them having so much of our possession, it’s asking for trouble.

Brendan Rodger’s 1001 excuses for losing a match of football

 

no 323) I thought the wind was too blowy for my young inexperienced 36 year old striker to control the ball properly 

 

no 324) the club have told me I can’t waste £500million pounds on ex Southampton dross 

 

no 325) the fans don’t support the club in the right way. 
 

no 326) we played well in spells but once we went 5-2 down I thought the players didn’t put any effort in. It’s all their fault, I mean it’s not like I play a midfielder in defence or anything pathetic like that

 

no 327) I’m only paid £10 million pounds a year, they should pay me more if they actually want me to motivate the team aswell

Maybe being told they're sh*t and not up to Premier League quality (when they clearly are) for 18 months has had an affect as well?

Why can’t Rodgers just say, I would have liked to bring in more players but couldn’t however I feel the ones I have are better than what is being shown.., just something like that
