If he wants to point to the Spurs scoreline being unflattering then he would have to regard this one as a bit flattering in some ways. We looked better than them in every area of the pitch, but I have no idea how it would have panned out had they not hit the post early on with one of the best chances in the game. We have brilliant finishers at this club, but as was mentioned on Sky - the combined xG for our 3 goals was about 0.18 or something. I think first half our best play probably came from the KDH header, and the Vardy header he should have done a lot better with.

In an attacking sense I am confident our front line will convert on a regular basis, but we allowed Forest into some very good positions. Defensively I think we got away with it a bit - the two biggest xG chances both fell to Forest.

He's taken us as far as he can and with the scale of the rebuild needed in the summer and his record on signings we absolutely need somebody else. The earlier the better.

I really dread to think with the signings he's made over the past few years what a rebuild would look like under him. We'll probably still be relying on Albrighton on the right in 2 years time.

I've not changed my mind on him he would have to win pretty much every game up to the world Cup for me to put up with him. Still wouldn't like him though.

So still voted out.

However he has earnt the next game but if we don't win that then he should be sacked

In all honesty I’d prefer we didn’t have to urgently get rid to save our season, and I think we have the quality to survive even with Rodgers at the club.

Personally think he goes at the end of the season after we finish about 15th. A crap season really when you consider the squad we have but he obviously has support of top and the majority of squad.

Still out for me. one result doesnt make the last 6 games go away. glad we showed up for forest but we need to keep showing up now, win or lose, if we see heart and determination and subs that make sense then maybe in a month or 2 ill be back on his side. but not yet

Let's just enjoy the win, one swallow doesn't make a summer, but tonight was a good start in winning fans back round. Collapse against Bournemouth though and any goodwill is out the window. Win our next 4 games however and I'm back on the Brendan bus.

Being a football manager is a weird job. Look at how Arteta started off at Arsenal and look at them now.

Still out for me but when does fickleness end and realism/admitting a mistake kick in?

If we now start getting results and playing decent football over the next four games I'll hold up my hand and say in.

For me it's about results and entertainment I'd give the job to that spanish bloke - El diabolo - if he got us playing well!

True, but it does generally make for an enjoyable night out!

Which is what we had last night.

Confidence should come from winning, some positives going forward and obviously not conceding.

Spine still feels a bit weak and I kind of want and angry enforcer type in the middle. Wilf and Soumare are a bit too nice.

But it was a good win and I’ll take it.

In or out? Part of me perversely would like to see him stay if we were to go down.
Him not wanting to resign and waive his pay off, and us not wanting to sack the twat just to see his little chapped face in the Championship, trying to figure out how it all went wrong for him.

But out, obviously.

If he finished 10th I guess there's more of a chance of an offer elsewhere, an that's where we could mutually part ways without a pay off possibly?

I actually think if Howe get the sack Newcastle will come in for him. He’d love it there.

A little happier but still out.

His stubborn attitude will be his downfall, he needs to get Soyuncu on board. I'm not accepting his BS about training etc. At the very least he should be on our bench.

I need to see improved performances and points from Bournemouth, Palace, Leeds and Wolves for me to consider him having a future here.

I'll stick with what I've always said.

If you lose a match, you sack your manager. If you win, you offer them a new contract.

If you draw, then you toss a coin.

It's just common sense.

I disagree. No doubting his signings haven't been brilliant, but if the club are able to get a clear strategy in place with the transfer team and make sure it's more of an internal process regarding a rebuild rather than Rodgers being given free reign in the market, then I can't really see a better "head coach" that we could attract than BR.

I also think our only hope of keeping Maddison beyond the summer is through Rodgers - there is clearly a close bond there between the two from how they talk about each other.

Can't believe the figure that have voted in lol

What a bunch of fickle bastards. Lose to Bournemouth and it will be back down to single figures again. Some people...

He has no loyalties to Leicester City.  If a bigger team comes along he will go.

Like he did with Celtic, he will say, "he has taken Leicester as far as he can....."

If only he had stopped at that point :D
