Literally what is the point? Another routine draw or loss, play crap and then we’ll debate how much longer Rodgers has got. It’s so ****ing pointless.

But folk will.

Palace will win today which will give them confidence.

Edouard is guaranteed to score against us, just because we were so close to signing him.

Schlupp will grab one just for a laugh.

Wouldn't be suprised to see Patrick Viera slot one in as well at the far post.

Rodgers spouts a load of post match crap, Top believes it, repeat for Leeds on a miserable cold Thursday night.

Ok last last chance Brendan.

Thing is with BR, he will get the occasional win and decent performance. But that entirely depends on whether he had Waitrose or Lidl cornflakes for breakfast. There is no consistency and there never will be.

Think we’ll be doing OK and gain a narrow lead perhaps but then Palace will introduce some fresh legged flair players and we’ll bring on Amartey and retreat 30 yards, inviting pressure, before the inevitable capitulation.

1-2 and post match declaration from Rodger’s that it was a surprising change of performance in the second half as if it’s the first time he’s seen it. What do they do at the training ground regarding post match analysis / watching their performances?

And to think some people say football fans are fickle.

I've not supported Brendan for a year. I'm now losing respect for top and the board and watching the club destroyed from within. I'm well within my rights to find something better to do with the very limited amount of free time I have whilst the club insist on treating fans with such disdain. Fickle is the absolute ****ing morons that voted Rodgers out, then back in again after one win and now back out again. Anyone who still supports Brendan at this point is clueless and doesn't deserve any respect. That includes the board.

What do you propose? The club aren't listening to the most important aspect - the fans. Shall we all keep turning up and clapping, akin to clapping our wives as they drive the children off a cliff edge?

Genuinely have no enthusiasm for this game at all. Fortunately, I've been roped into working and won't be able to attend.

Can't believe I'm saying that but that's just a sign of how bad it has gotten.

You do know these votes are not actually official ones to decide what happens, yes?

As for fickle, it could just as easily be said that fickle is the people who stop supporting the team because they want the manager gone, and that real fans support their team whatever. Through thick and thin.

But it obviously shows a portion of the fan base are thick as shit or don't care about us going down? I support a few of the players, but turning up week in week out and clapping isn't helping the situation. We are in a relegation fight. The club don't respect or listen to the fans so why should I persist when I have very little free time and the end result is misery and delay. Turning up and handing over hard earned cash in a cost of living crisis to be treated with absolute disdain is not my idea of fun. If that's your thing, go ahead and suck it up. I'll wait until the club realise they are nothing without the fans, and until that message is made clear and they are hit in the pocket then they won't get that message.

In all seriousness, you shouldn't. We tend to invest far too much of ourselves in our football teams, when there are usually far more important and rewarding things we could be doing, and too many of us depend for our happiness on football - something we have absolutely no control over.

To be honest, I wasn't meaning to have a go at you personally and I'm sorry if it came across that way, I was just aiming for a cheap joke at the way a lot of what people are saying sounds like 'I'm not going to support us if we're crap' - when a lot of the same people would doubtless mock any glory hunters who only started supporting Leicester in 2016.

This could be a pretty nasty defeat. They’ve got everything we can’t handle, and we’re on our arses. A big powerful side with a few handy players. 0-6 comfortably.

Do it! There's a lot to be said for watching proper football. I highly recommend it. But do it because it's actually in many ways a better thing to watch than a load of massively overpaid knobs play for clubs owned by billionaires and/or dictators in a slickly expensive hypefest which is basically just advertising for multinational corporations. Not just because you want Rodgers gone!
