TBH most of the people he mimics tend to get sacked !

 

The impressions are good but yes I guess after a while can get a bit predictable .

He's "comedy" for the sort of people whose sense of humour is posting the Norwich Maddison highlights video, asking if players have been seen in Morrisons and spamming the worst forced puns imaginable in every thread. 

 

I imagine these people are also single handedly responsible for keeping Mrs Brown's Boys on the air, 95% of the sales of Lee Evans DVDs and love nothing more than shouting GARLIC BREAD!? in an awful northern accent.

He's not for me, but comedy is subjective and nothing I've ever seen him do has been offensive. He probably has a demographic who find him funny and that's fine. Play to the audience for your corn.

 

He might not be my cup of tea, but definitely won't be turning into the comedy police about him. Managed to make a moderate amount of success of a limited talent, which most of us would try and maximise if we had the chance.

His accents are fairly close but doesn't really sound like anyone he's meant to be doing impressions of. Not at all funny either, but I don't find any impressions funny really.

His Gerrard, Carra and Rooney impressions are pretty good, maybe because he's a scouser too. His Maguire and Rodgers ones aren't great and Rodgers in particular doesn't even sound like him.

He makes me giggle, which is always welcome. Mrs Brown's Boys is the most dreadful show in the world. Lee Evans makes me cringe.

 

I do however shop in Morrisons.
