And this is something the Mahrez apologists overlook. 

 

To be a hero you have to say nothing insulting and turn up. 

 

Look at Cambiasso. He could've said that the club wasn't great, that the city was a dump, that he didn't like the team. He didn't. He just did his part and didn't sign another contract. 

 

Even Maguire acted professionally towards us. It was clear he wanted out but did the right thing. Can't knock that. 

 

Mahrez has taken so many opportunities to stick the boot in. It didn't have to be that way. Just be a hero and leave thinking bad about us rather than saying it
