Whilst I was very upset by that, I do think I should say that I thought Ndidi played well. Hopefully he can start instead of Soumaré and bring back some of his old skill. We desperately need him in the middle.

 

On another note, Rodgers subbing Daka off for Vardy and then making no other changes until the 70th minute was as predictable as it was depressing.

Match done, dusted and sealed by an appalling 1st half. They could then shut up shop and sit back whilst we huffed and puffed and pretended to look good. Newcastle won't have too many games easier than that. File under 'one to forget'
