Yeah, Matt made a great point, alot players dont even like their own fans. You know the likes of Vesty, Faes, Winks and Ayew can't stand us, and it shows in the effort they put in. I wonder if managers feel the same way.

The weird thing is it would take very little to get fans onside. And surely that would be a far better experience personally than being universally hated.

Agreed with every word on the pod, we are sleep walking to league 1 and only way is down with Top in charge. I don’t think 75% of the fan base really know what bother we are in until we get new owners. How things have things gotten this bad is a disgrace.

And I’m in full agreement with @Ric Flair

 

I genuinely think we’re on the home straight to liquidation. I think we’re getting relegated, all of the signs are there, bar some kind of miracle. 
 

We can’t score goals, we’ve got a squad made up of want a ways and rotten apples, we’ve got a clueless manager and a clueless boardroom. 
 

We will hit league one, with all of he same financial issues we have now, and simply will not have the capacity to remedy the issue, the administrators will come in, and no one will want to take us on because of the financial mess they would inherit…… 

 

So in short, I genuinely do not think we will get out of this mess.

I assume you've tried, but given the large number of people that still seem to be backing Top/don't see him as the problem, it would be genuinely interesting to get some of these people on to discuss. Not in any sort of witchunt way, but i'd like to hear from them about why they still have trust in him. I'm yet to hear a decent argument for him.

There's actually a version of titanic where Jack and Rose have a half hour long conversation on the raft about the logistics of catching a Killer Whale and riding it all the way to New York before he freezes to death, but it got cut out of the final edit.
