Any chance of the photo of the snivelling little toe-rag being removed? I'm probably not the only one offended to see him wearing our shirt, or just seeing him.

I can’t be the only one who thinks he could be a real asset this season?

If I’m earning £3,000,000 a year, even if you triple my wages, then i’m

still not interested in uprooting my family to go and live in a desert with views about as modern as Henry VIII.

It’s telling that Mbappe has no interest in even speaking to them with the £700m he’s being offered.

He suits a possession style for sure, I can see him starting in place of Coady whilst he is injured. Could play a big part for us if he stays, since it appears he is back in the fold. I know he is a scapegoat here, but he is too good for this level based on his time before his disaster start with us.

Why should he be forced out? Has the right to leave when he wants.

Unbelievable.

What has happened to our fan base, the world? Why do people get so angry?

Probably the dreadful season, followed by the relegation I’d say pal

And I’m by no means in the hate vestergaard brigade. But fofana is a different story.

So by that, you must have Mahrez in your list of most hated because regardless of the fact he was one of the most technically gifted players we've ever had and helped deliver a league win, that's just coincidental and he still forced a move, skipped training and hung around in airports whilst his agent tried to engineer moves away...

The difference between mahrez and fofana is despite being a pisswhinge, he still got on the with job in the end and played another half a season before getting his move. And yes, had a hell of a lot of credit in the bank in comparison.

As soon as fofana got a sniff he refused to play  and completely threw us under the bus.

You could compare him with the Caicedo lad from Brighton. Yes, also wanted the move and even took to social media. But he’s still remained professional after and got on with the job and now the fans can see him move on without thinking he’s a massive 🔔 🔚

Because the bloke is taking the piss and collecting his £40-50k week, and prior to that £70k a week, for doing nothing! He’s literally fallen out of favour with his national team as well because he’s not been playing, and yet he’s been offered 2 or 3 moves(?). There’s a lot not to like there.

In fairness, not every move is right.

I’ve lived in cities, deserts etc and you’d have to seriously overpay what I get now, to get me to move.

If the family is settled, he’s been offered a contract by the club and he’s within his right to see it out. I sort of get why he would want to join a club in Greece, Al-Spunge A lot, or Fulham.

He could retire at the end of his Leicester contract if he really wanted to.

Why is he taking the piss, he's fit and available for selection, the manager chooses not to pick him.

Two things.

  • This is not your money.
  • Contract.

It was kneejerk shocker of a signing by the club no argument there but he didn’t sign himself and he owes you, me, any fan nothing beyond effort and availability,

I can’t be the only one not triggered by this. It’s our own fault, we trusted Brendan who ignored all advice and pressed on signing him, Rudkin offered him the contract.

The bloke doesn’t want to move to Saudi Arabia, can you blame him?

We ****ed up and deal with the consequences.

Indeed. I hate the situation, but I really cannot blame Vestergaard. He must feel betrayed by the club and management in particular and won't feel in a charitable mood I'd guess. Pretty natural.

Still dosent shy away from the fact of how he treated the club after they stood by him. Purely coincidental that he got another bad injury. Or maybe a bit of karma…

Yeah, it's not like we cashed in a huge amount selling him at a time when his stock was extremely high. It's silly to suggest he is hated.

I can’t be bothered to quote all those who disagree with my post, but there are some good points. Having reflected on this what I dislike the most is the atmosphere and culture having people like him around creates - ie a donkey who look like he is wading through treacle (I think a commentator in a European game made that point), and it puts pressure on the rest of the squad and leads to players being overplayed and possibly injured etc.

Yes we shouldn’t have signed him, but he’s sapping the place of energy, and I’m allowed to dislike him intensely! Even more so given he’s had opportunities to go and actually play for elsewhere in places that aren’t Saudi or Europe.

Agree he needs to go but any case he is taking the piss is laughable. The bloke had us coming in for him in two windows, finally getting him in, only to have a manager use him in a childish stand off and ends up wasting a full season of his career not even making the match day squad. Sticks around to try and make it work and the team hes not even in gets relegated. I think it's him thats had the piss taken.

Statements like this, just shows many in the fan base don’t understand what’s behind the off-field ethics & stories. What Vestergaard said or done against the fans, his browse is with how the pathetic management of this club totally mismanaged him plus a few other players…

Because of it,I would love him to stay, and turn his career around…

Clearly you know more than me, so how is he sapping the place of energy?

Him being here is a Rudkin/Rodgers issue. As you've admitted, we shouldn't have signed him and i think us fans all universally agree with that. Your anger and frustration should be aimed at them and not the player.

He's a human being as well as a footballer. His decision to stay doesn't just have to be a footballing reason or even a financial reason. He has a family who he may not want to uproot. I'm pretty sure he was quoted as saying this when a loan move abroad came up.

Not sure on the genuine hatred on a player who by and large appears to be harmless. Nothing in his personality from the outside in would suggest he's a bad apple.

I don't think you are the only one who feels this way and I don't mean to aim this directly at you. I just think the anger is aimed in the wrong direction.

It’s quite natural to not like a player that is clearly pretty happy not playing and taking a salary out of the club for doing nothing.
He’s fully entitled to do that, but don’t go moaning to the press when you miss the World Cup when you had the opportunity to move to a decent club.
