Idiocy It's an amateur view. How do you think scouts work/worked? They look past the actual performance but the touch, the intent,.the movement,.the effort, the awareness. I'm sorry to p1ss on the dreams of those who want this to come good. I'd recommend investing your hopes in someone else. He ain't got it.

I imagine most scouts wouldn't make up a decision on a player after less than 300 minutes of game time either, especially when in about 120 minutes of that he has shown he can be very good, and in another 90 minutes he was playing in part of a team where quite literally not a single attacking player or attacking moment from any player on his team looked good either. Popular Post jayfox26 Posted 26 February 2023 Popular Post Posted 26 February 2023 Find it mad he's been written off already by some. I thought I was bad when it comes to writing people off early but this is very premature. If he does nothing against Blackburn and Southampton, if he plays in them both, then I'd start to have my concerns but I think he showed enough against Villa and Spurs to not be written off just yet. 6

The problem is that he was massively overhyped by many on here. A few were claiming he was going to be a huge difference, and it's those same few who are now taking exception when others are saying, quite rightly, that he's not as outstanding as we were being told by them. For what it's worth, his numbers in the Ukrainian League were similar to Barnes's in the Premier League. Which shows just how some are willing to overrate him because of his Nationality. His presence is offering us a bigger threat currently than his ability. This hype surrounding him wasn't the same when we brought in Lookman, who is currently proving to be a better player. We are back to Lookman being the greatest! Because he never went missing in the odd game did he💁. I think we all would have liked to see more of Tete against Arsenal, but it’s been far from a disaster so far. Has a few games coming up where we should be more attack minded (assuming Brendan hasn’t completely lost the plot). 1
filthyfox Posted 27 February 2023 Posted 27 February 2023 .... hopefully will set the world alight tomorrow!

Haha okay no, you've got me there, but I meant more in a sustained sense. His first performance was brilliant, I agree!

CosbehFox Posted 27 February 2023 Posted 27 February 2023 Looks like he has one of his old coaches from Gremio with him today. In turn the former coach has been invited to supervise our training sessions etc

Blanchflower78 Posted 28 February 2023 Posted 28 February 2023 We've probably ruined him. Only took 4 weeks.
Staff Posted 28 February 2023 Posted 28 February 2023 Started looking good, made some good transitions, so brendan hooks him.joke of a man 1
BenTayfour Posted 28 February 2023 Posted 28 February 2023 Dolan is giving him lessons on being an actual winger.
Lambert09 Posted 28 February 2023 Posted 28 February 2023 i’m personally not worried about him. He is a winger that needs support though, not the type to make things alone
filthyfox Posted 28 February 2023 Posted 28 February 2023 Well... the Championship obviously isn't his level
beepee1984 Posted 28 February 2023 Posted 28 February 2023 He's played one good game before BR coached it out of him. He had got the pace and ability to be a good player, but we have to play attacking football to see the best out of him 1
