Not sure about that, Blackburn are 4th in the Championship. Playing a weaker team was always going to be somewhat risky. I understand the thinking but it backfired.

 

One thing to say, Jon-Dahl Tomasson is doing a great job there! He could well be a contender for a job with us in the future. It will be interesting to follow his managerial career.

Well that's the same thing in my opinion.

 

I'm certainly not defending Rodgers, but I understand why he went the way he did. Plenty of other managers have done it in the past and it's also backfired for them too. If we lose or draw to Southampton it will look like an even worse decision though, that's for sure.
