Where are the Rudkin shaggers now?

Shagging him behind the mower hall at Seagrave.

I never really understand the hate Rudkin gets.

Yes he holds a role where we assume he oversees player recruitment, team strategy, club philosophy, contract negotiations, youth development, sporting infrastructure etc

However surely this doesn’t lie at the door of one person? Is it not a collective board responsibility and his overall performance could be hampered by the others?

The Finance Director is the one controlling the purse strings? If he tells you you’ve got £5,000,000 to spend, you work to that?

The HR Director overviewing contracts, bonuses, performance related stuff etc. For all we know, he could have been begging to sack Rodger’s and HR / Finance wouldn’t sign it off.

Then a CEO that should keep them all in check?

We’ve done well in reality compared to other clubs with player (youth) development and transfers. Some don’t like this type of football, however it’s pragmatic and provides a more calculated approach to winning / losing, rather than the basket ball match type football that is end to end.

I’ve no idea if he’s the right or wrong person, as we don’t know the inner workings of the club.

And yes largely out problems largely come down to overseas player recruitment, team strategy, club philosophy, contract negotiations, youth development and sporting infrastructure but I don’t really get why some people don’t think he’s doing a great job.

According to the news reports we will have to sell more of our star players to stop us breaching financial fair play.

Why did we sell maddison, Barnes on so cheaply then. Also gave tielemans for free!, who isn't exactly warming their benches.

Surely that would have given us the money to have stayed in profit, is these news reports are true?

Tielemans contract expired.

I can only imagine as well, that we don’t have to pay yearly bonuses etc to Barnes / Maddison and that would have maybe saved some money.

Both have also spent longer injured this season, than they have on the field.

Ultimately, I’m guessing teams knew our financial challenges, so played hard ball.

We also don’t know, how many other teams were interested.

I’m still surprised we signed Cannon, as it wasn’t exactly a key position for us.

I can only assume they thought another one of our forwards was going. However surely you only push that though once the other has gone!

COULD... they said "could", because they don't have a scooby doo. We also don't have to sell anyone; you could, in theory, go up and bank and take a point hit.

Not forgetting, promotion would mean huge increases in revenue, more chance to bring in well paid sponsorship etc. The notion here is that the only way to make money is to sell a player.

If we don't go up, then clearly we'd need to cut our cloth more, but I'm sure we all knew that anyway.

Even then Daka was only going out on loan. Its all a bit odd.

a large part of his job is to sell players the manager doesn't want ,we have been seriously shit at that for years, even the big sales, it has been previously reported, are handled by Susan Whelan, which is why we got to prices for Maguire, Chilwell and Fofana.

Its sad to say if Vichai was around ands we were in this situation I think Rudkin would be out the door, Top is too close to him on a personal level to see the wood for the trees, Rudkin will only got when they sell.

Fortunately, Jon Rudkin knows Jon Rudkin is doing the best jobs.

Jon Rudkin doesn't really know what Jon Rudkin does. Maybe Jon Rudkin is supposed to be responsible for lots of things. Maybe Jon Rudkin is responsible for nothing. Jon Rudkin can't be sure what the truth is, nobody knows that, not even Jon Rudkin. So best assume someone else is to blame, unless it's a good thing, in which case, Jon thinks Jon should get more credit.

Jon also operates on the Major Major office visiting policy from Catch 22. Managers wanting to know about transfers aren't allowed to visit him in his office, as he is very busy. They are allowed to visit him in his office when he's not there in the office only.

So that would explain everything and make Cannon an excellent signing then, we assumed a striker was leaving so we signed an injured striker…

Cannon joins the list of Vardy replacements signed before Vardy has actually retired/left.

Sounds like agents stirring up trouble to get our “star” players cheap.

This forum was crying for a young striker replacement for Vardy,

not in his ilk,but to take into a new epoc & style.

The club are hopefully going to do what beneits the club.

We arent going to sell the crown jewels cheap to avoid a 6 point deduction, you may as well keep what we have and start with -6.

Amazes me that they're coming for us hen theyve not properly dealt with everton, forest and man city

It’s the timing of the cases…

Each season or I believe 2 year periods backdated.I believe.

Everton is not one case, nor are the other clubs. Each period being dealt seperately

Everton,Forest and Eventual,Chelsea & Man.City cases will be dealt with….

We are not the victims here,!!

no matter how much our follies hurt me,in my later years….

If FFP ,plus other regulations adjudicators destroy the something they are trying to

protect…Our Clubs across the board let it happen, every Foreigner wanted a pet club,

Every club whored themselves through the years, All fans are criticising because of how their bias & loyalties lie.

Fans crying out that their club jumps ontop of the cream ,shit to the consequences

Even if chaos and disorganisation comes during & following Sport repentance,

We brewed and broiled together Bosses, sponsors, fans alike our own Stew,

Tribal instincts ruled, common sense predictions ,foreplaning, laughed at,thrown out the preferbial window .
Machoism from participant right upto board and modern owners,

who allowed themselves to be railroaded, more than they would allow in their own primary businesses. Then Super rich foreign businesses allowed in who had no interest in the sport,at all, just  a pet club into their folio which also allowed grease balls within the sport to milk the protocols to their lives content…

Fans only interested in comparing best 2 finger up signs and bottle job comparisons, enjoy being took the PSs out of by all levels of media,by jumping on every clickbait village controversy…

I still believe in hard working, desired choice of Football players & Squad of backup persononelle relevant to onfield endeavours..Also the upfront honest fan who’s only wish is support them and their club, but when I read FT or other forums I just don’t understand any longer some of the crap suppose fans want to get into,or agendas has of their own lives depended on it…

The business form or area of many sports have been compromised and corrupted

No consequence when breaking the agreed rules.

But you can’t destroy the basic roots and needs of the game itself, only if you listen to those that want nothing other than to slander other peoples  interest..
