For me to summarise Rudkin.

 

Only good at selling our best players (which apparently Whelan took over), cannot manage player turnaround on squad players, over paying on salaries, misbalanced squads, and now due to no proper scouting system over reliant on getting 30+ year old past their best ex EPL players.

 

When was the last time we brought in at least half a dozen players in a window, and especially not at the final day or two of window, selling of reserve players etc.

Bumping this thread to say this bloke has to be sacked immediately. Yet again, stuck with an interim manager with no clue wasting multiple games. 4 signings at the last second possible in the Jan window. Shite players. 
 

What more does he have to do wrong until he’s gone?

I remember when Leeds appointed Javi Gracia after sacking Jesse Marsch. Disastrous appointment, and was sacked. They also sacked the director of football. Accountability.

Except binning Rudkin is highly unlikely to cost £200m+..

Be named in the Epstein files?

 

Tonight was lower than the many lows we've witnessed. Rudkin, Top, King Power and co are all accountable and have to be removed for the sake of the club's existence.

Wouldn't happen because if Rudkin was pictured arm in arm with Epstein, Top would would have been there with him.

If he had an ounce of integrity and credibility he would walk away for the long term good of the club, but instead he will carry on and we will continue to appoint people who don’t rock the boat or question his position. 
 

Aiyawatt continues to protect him and as a result we continue to decline. If Rudkin left tomorrow it immediately opens up a whole new set of possibilities and options but he won’t and the pool we fish in becomes smaller and smaller with each sacking. 
 

Rudkin doesn’t care about the club he can’t do because if he did he would offer his resignation or agree a role where he relinquishes any real control for the benefit of the club. Instead Aiyawatt reshuffles the deck chairs to make it look like change but to ultimately double down on protecting his mate.

Exactly this. He’s like a scandal prone politician gripping on to his job for dear life whilst waiting for a tap on his shoulder to say mate you need to go.

 

Would relegation and the humiliation of that move him, probably not, but he will never win around the majority of fans. He is in denial.

 

Top I am afraid is even more in denial and cannot read the room. If you like rudders, superb, find him a different job away from the football operation, and get someone in with the cv and competence. Obviously not happening, won’t happen and why top himself is not suited to oversee the club’s future.

 

we are not rock bottom yet but we are fast approaching it.

Yes, but upgrading Rudkin could also make a massive difference. From Tops interviews he appears to be naive, clueless and trusting. So he’s current taking counsel from someone who let’s face it is incompetent. Replace Rudkin with a successful DoF who can basically run the show along with a new CEO and at least Top is getting a steer from people who know what good looks like.
