Fair, if we’re playing them at DM. But I would move Soumare up to KDH’s role and have Mendy as the DM.

I'd go back to what worked when Rodgers first took over. 4-1-4-1.

                    Ihneacaho or Daka

 

Tell Barnes and Maddison to push forward more. Tell Ricardo to lockdown the right hand side but get forward where he can. Seriously simplify N'didi's game. Tell him to mainly cover the left and centre but keep an eye on the right hand side. But all he has to do is go and destroy; if he gets the ball pass it to the nearest unmarked player or boot it into the channels.

 

Then start Daka if we're more direct or Ihneacaho if we want a more possession based game. I'd prefer Ihneacaho as he can actually score.

 Broken play will more than likely suit him and allow him to thrive, as opposed to a structured setup. We are never going to find out about him unless we play him and we can then make a judgement.

I was tied between Ricardo and Tete but his confidence has seemed to be hit a bit under Rodgers, would like to see him come on as an impact sub and get into the action maybe grab a goal or 2?

I was saying that to my lad on Tuesday night would love to see Barnes through the middle as an out an out striker then have madders behind him with Ricardo and Tete on the wings I recon we’d be fuching amazing if that was to happen !
