Hoped the board would show some initiative when it comes to managers but it's not happening so given the options they're looking at he'll have to do, just don't let him extend Ayoze's contract.

Bang on - when it come to the filter of 'PL experience' he's far the stand out above the others.

Yes. He will fit both situations, if we stay up, he will keep us in the EPL. If we go down, he will get us back up. Very pragmatic manager. He will work with want he’s got. Just look at what he did at Newcastle, similar situation re our hierarchy being useless!

Out of the other options then yes.

I’ve gone past style of play and being defensive. We need that now.

He seems to be the best of our options. If he is happy to help rebuild if/when we get relegated then yes. We need.someone in ASAP. Saturday a free hit.

Yes. He has found some absolute gems in his career in terms of signings and he has won a lot of trophies. He gives us the best chance of staying up and if we do go down he has already won the Championship before. Everton didn't work out for him but he entered a toxic environment.  He was never going to be accepted there due to the Liverpool connection so its unfair to judge him on that role. Newcastle under Ashley wasn't an easy job and everywhere else he has been given time he has been a success. Even with Chelsea whose fans didn't want him he won in Europe.

He's certainly known for sorting the defence out which is our biggest weakness.

He wasn't great at Everton but did leave them when they were 6 points above the drop zone.

He was no thrills at Newcastle but they were hard to beat and certainly battled.

Best option we can get in, no idea why it's taken this long

Absolutely.

He's well known. The players should hopefully listen and he may get a reaction out of them.

Knows the premier league and championship.

Think he'll stabilise the club in a time of desperate need.

He's the right man for the job and should have been appointed soon as Rodgers was sacked.

Beggars can't be choosers. He transformed Napoli from an attractive side under Mazzarri into a weekly borefest. Just expect Puelball with bells on if he does end up here.

Only if he can bring in the backroom staff he wants too. Pointless bringing him in and then keeping the likes of Sadler, Stowell etc. Needs to be a full refresh with staff he knows and trusts
