Can anyone name a Leicester team they've liked less than this one?

I currently like 4 players and one of them is out in loan. 

 

Even when we went down to league 1 i still adored Hume, Fryatt and Kisnorbo.

Those of us who have been around for a long time have seen teams that are infinitely worse than this team, technically. But I can’t recall seeing a weaker team in blue physically or mentally. There is no joy in watching this set right now. They are an embarrassment to all that has gone before them. I can’t get past the word ‘cowardly’ to sum up their intent, decisions and efforts. Whoever comes in during June has got one helluva challenge ahead of them. Every element of the club feels like it’s stagnant or in decay.

The laziness, the entitlement, the lack of fight, the self-interest, it was all bought on by the least likeable man to ever be associated with the club. The fact that it’s continued after he left is really so disappointing

I don’t blame the players particularly. Rodgers oversaw this shit show, let players run down contracts whilst handing them the arm band constantly. Bought duffers and then isolated so many others they probably can’t wait to get out.

I think I hated the 2005-07 side more. Some of these players have been great for us. They just don't care anymore.

Can’t agree with the 2004-2008 shouts. We were beyond skint and knew those players were bad. 
 

These players have the ability but have no desire and have given up. In my eyes thats far worse.

2000-01 under Taylor was just as bad rbf.

 

Genuinely talented players on paper like Izzet, Savage and Elliott just looked lethargic and like they couldn’t play football half the time. Similar to this season, it was sad to see players who had previously been great for Leicester play so poorly and lethargically and seemed to have zero confidence or fight

Levein through to relegation was bad but that was more down to us having a revolving door of complete shite…this lot (bar 5/6) just do my head in

A lot of the sides mentioned did not contain players worth upwards of 25m. So whilst the Levein, Holloway, Allen teams were just utter crap, these lot are just gutless, the talent exists but they've downed tools.

Stephen Hughes and Gareth Williams were so feeble, and 'Captain Fantastic' Stephen Clemence was utter shite.

But at least they didn't get to spout shite on social media - I think thats the killer for me that makes them  a bit less dislikeable - I could watch them be shite on a Saturday and then that was it until the next one...

Yes exactly. That was year after year of a squads of journeymen and loaners who really didnt give the slightest shit and just wanted their wage. A team of Ryan Bertrands if you will.

Hard to agree. 07/08 were bad and couldn’t score goals. Could defend though. Best defence in the league but relegated on the last day? 
 

this lot are absolute pony and have no backbone. Penalty to put us 3-1 up against a relegation rival and we punt it lamely down the middle.

 

late equalisers at home to Brentford and Brighton. 6 pts gifted to the likes of Southampton, Fulham, Bournemouth where we barely laid a glove on any of them. 
lame performances at Forest away. Games against “big six” with the exception of one spurs at home game, where we had no interest in trying to win. Shocking performances.

 

yes Colchester 1-1 at home and sheff weds at home in 07/08 we should’ve done enough to stay up but this one has been on the wall since the third game at the very least.

 

supposedly class players like Maddison, Tielemans, Barnes, Castane, and we can’t do Jack shit.

 

im done with this lot. Will probably be back on the first day next season for Cardiff at home

I’ve been thinking this for a while….it’s the huge disconnect of how awful we’ve been to their blind ignorance to this that does it for me.

 

They also appear to be the most over paid, unprofessional squad in the league….they can’t run and that’s unacceptable in my eyes.

For me this is the worst season I felt about our team probably in nearly 30 years of supporting the club.

 

I am talking on a mentality, motivation, organisation, fitness type level.

 

In other bad seasons, it could be excused easier by a simple our players are shite, but we know the team is capable of far more.  As others have said as well this is a very expensive team we have assembled in both wages and fees.
