Right.....

A protest isn't happening, our fans are too passive.

A picket isn't happening, our fans are too passive.

The only way this fan base shows its contempt is by leaving the stadium sparsely populated. That will visably hit KP more than a few of us standing outside.

Sad but true.

Fair enough to everyone's reply about my resale platform idea but if you think anyone is buying it I think you're very much mistaken, especially thousands of them.

Some people would trample their Grandma to get down there. They can't stay away they are hopelessly addicted. Its worse than fentanyl for some. If we were bottom of the southern league, they would still go.

I won't be going. Won't be selling my ticket either so that's at least one less. I'd be going if I could rely on our fans to make the place as vile as it should be, but they won't, it'll just be an extension of tonight and it's nowhere near enough for me so that's me out.

If we are still in with a chance of survival then absolutely do not boycott.

We will need a full crowd to stand any chance no matter how slim

Not something you'll need to worry about

I don’t disagree with you mate to be honest. But you know what we have had the most amazing 10 years! Am I disappointed, frustrated we didn’t go on to cement ourselves? Of course! But I am forever grateful for the era we have just witnessed. At the end of the day you support your team through the good and the bad times. 👍🏻

You say an amazing 10 years but realistically, of the Premier League football we have been able to actually view live at the KP in our 9 years, a lot of it has actually been very up and down. Under Rodgers, a lot of our best football was played in an empty KP. Pretty much 1& 1/2, seasons of watching almost training ground matches in empty stadia where the big 6 didn’t have the influence of their fans at home against the ref. Last season despite our late move up the table we were pretty poor in the premier league and this season has been utterly, utterly desperate. The great escape season and obviously the prem win were outrageously good but after that we had the prolonged Ranieri/Shakespeare/Puel premier league slump. We look at it through rose tinted glasses but in all honesty there’s been a lot of less than amazing times alongside the maximum high of 15/16.

Then only thing as appalling as these gutless players is the fans that still applaud them after that performance. Absolutely staggering that People can applaud such a lack of effort and passion and pride. If we lost 3-0 but the players gave their all and ran themselves into the ground then fine, applaud but I honestly have no idea how anyone can give any kind of praise or appreciation to this rotten lot we have. It makes me worry that our fanbase is as bad as the players, the board and Rodgers and that by us (and I mean the happy clappers) accepting this utter shit show will somehow also allow the board to accept it and do nothing to stop it. Heads should roll, people should be held accountable but look Top, the fans are still cheering and clapping so it's fine to carry on regardless.

Why should I bother when these lot can’t put a shift in for 90 minutes.

I’ll stay at home, watch the F1 and see Mercedes get shafted by RB! 😭

Edit:

Monaco GP will be more interesting and that’s saying something!

If we still have a chance on the last day I'll be going, which I think is doubtful.

If we're already down I shan't be going or lending my ticket to anyone.

By "boycott" you mean stay at home. Proves fvck all and club will assume you don't care.

Either turn up and protest or picket outside. Anything else is a show of apathy.

No. No. No. No. And no.

At some point people have to understand the mindset of the people running the club.

You are a pleb, nothing more than a customer for gates to click in and merch tills to record out. You only exist for the revenue you produce - they couldn't give less of a shit about your support, negative or otherwise. They give a shit about revenue.

Stop being a customer, be a fan - withhold your presence and your cash, it's is literally the only thing they will be concerned about.

Sadly it doesn't matter if we have a chance or if the KP is bouncing.

The team doesn't have it in them.

It's over.

What I realised earlier is that a lot of them simply revel in us being shit. What I mean is they would rather we were shit just because they can virtue signal to everyone else about how loyal they are to the cause, how good a fan they are. They don't want the club to better itself, they want to feel morally superior.

That's the only angle I can possibly view the reaction of those applauding - which was a minority, but still enough for it to be noise. There is nothing else it can be. I fail to believe anybody can appreciate that absolute rubbish which they've paid good money for.

Sorry I say applauding - hitting their clap banner obviously I meant. Naturally.

Couldn’t agree more it’s not that we are loosing it’s the manner of how we are getting beat! For me tielemans madders and Barnes can just not play another game absolutely disgraceful over the last 6-8 weeks! People keep talking about the quality in the squad where is it because I don’t see it anywhere! Everything piper was saying last night was bang on! Boycott the game I hope people do I won’t be going I have better things to do than watch these wasters none of them give a **** why should the fans! And don’t expect to come straight back up because the problems ain’t just at player level in this club

Yet the sad thing is, for every fan that does this there will be a customer that fills that void.
