It's in our hands

It would be sensational if it happened but I'd almost rate it longer odds than us winning the title.

My semi-realistic hope: that Leeds & Everton fail to win this weekend, meaning that we're still not relegated after losing at Newcastle.

The West Ham game will be my last as a STH due to moving away and it's going to be so depressing if we're already down.

My totally unrealistic hope: having failed to win this weekend, on the last day Leeds & Everton again cock up at home to Spurs and Bournemouth, and we somehow scab a victory against West Ham reserves.

Never mind a "great escape", that would be the greatest and least deserving shithouse escape of all time! lol

Can only be done if we play Tielemans, Soumare and Ndidiin midfield our potential savours.

Newcastle who have been absolutely dominant at home, who need a win to get CL football, WTF is he smoking.

Imagine needing a win and having to play a team that look set to be relegated?
What’s the worst that could happen? It’s not like their best CB will get sent off and the team self combust and lose 4-1

He's not going to come out and say we're ****ed and we've got no chance of winning these games is he.

Don't get me wrong, I wish they would stop all of this media bollocks from now until the end of the season.

May I suggest that we try and actively attack the opposition for more then 15-20 minutes in a game. Trying to score goals might help us, rather than spending 80% of the game stood in our half watching the other team aimlessly pass the ball and kill the clock.

That requires match fitness, something we seem to lack.

Easily done!

Wolves beat Everton

West Ham beat Leeds

Arsenal beat Forest

We beat Newcastle

Final day, we match Everton & Leeds results.

Not sure what's so impossible about that.

I've just this minute had a frank and open discussion with a work colleague who thinks this is achievable.

It ended with me calling him a stupid tw&t and walking off.

I'll expect a HR visit later today!!

Can't believe people STILL think this can be done after seeing us this season.

TOOLS!

I feel sorry for players having to answer questions and coming out with shite like this, which they probably believe is a load of shite themselves. Maddison is worth a listen most of the time but 99% of footballers say what they're trained to say.

Reminds me of us under Sousa, getting completely over ran by any team that has decent fitness. Unless we somehow bang in 2/3 goals during our 15 minutes of pressure we're in trouble.
