win v Newcastle, Forest lose at the weekend, Everton draw and Leeds win. Final day, Leeds are drawing, Forest are losing, Everton drawing. All we need is a point to stay up on goal difference.

Maddison gives away a goal like v Bournemouth. 1-0 down in the 89th minute, he wins a free kick on the edge of the box. score and we stay up. balloons it out of the ground, Schlupp scores two own goals in two minutes of stoppage time, Gray scores a last minute winner, Leeds get a winner. finish 19th 4 points off safety and 3 points off Everton in 18th.

Pardon 🤔😁

We blag a shithouse draw at Newcastle and then beat West Ham at home on the final day as they play the kids.

Meanwhile, Forest lose at home to a wounded and pissed off Arsenal while Everton get back-to-back wins against Wolves and Bournemouth to confirm their safety.

As the time ticks away at Selhurst Park, Palace and Forest are drawing 0-0 to keep Forest safe before Schlupp bundles home an injury time winner (thanks to VAR) that sends Forest down on goal difference as Leeds can only draw against Spurs.

Leicester win their second of two games. Leeds, Everton and Forest all lose their respective games.

Ndidi gets MOTM, we keep a second clean sheet in two games and Daka learns where the goal is in the 94th minute.

City score a 95th minute 'winner' against West Ham, and results from elsewhere mean that the fans think that we're safe. Despite 2 minutes more of injury time still to play, some fans invade the pitch to celebrate. (They think it's all over, to coin a phrase.) The match is abandoned. The PL then decide that the game must be replayed behind closed doors. City only draw the replayed game and get relegated.

Leicester fail to win either of their last two games, losing both games 5-0.

(Not the comically absurd bit)

Brendan Rodgers who is a smartly dressed pundit, accepts full responsibility at full time, unreservedly apologises to anyone remotely associated with the club and offers to reimburse every season ticket holder the cost of next seasons ST from his severance payout.

An 11th hour investigation is launched into allegations of atleast 17 of the 20 premier league clubs fielding ineligible players during the season.

The entire 22/23 season is declared null and void.

Somewhere, a referee will blow for time with the home team safe, the entire crowd invades the pitch, and VAR intervenes and says there was a marginal handball three minutes earlier.  The ref gives the penalty, which is saved, and another pitch invasion follows.  VAR insists the goalkeeper was off his line ...

Repeat ad nauseam.

Full times everywhere bar the KP and we need a goal to stay up after the alloted injury time, through ball to Vardy who rounds the keeper and slide it goalwards only for a slightly deflated dinosaur balloon to fall on top of the ball leaving it at a standstill for West Ham  to clear. Full time. We go down.

We're winning 5-0 by half time and things are going swimmingly.

All we have to do is see out the game...

Enough said lol
