They went gun ho this year with the Lewis Potter money and have spunked a good amount of it on loan fees, they had to have at least got playoffs so i can see why. Will be interesting if they’ve already got someone in

I thought they were certain for Play-Offs with that squad. Backed with 2nd tier gems all over the pitch, I'm actually not that surprised. Was farcical he was ever nominated for MOTS anyway.

I think that’s a fair sacking personally. Spent a lot of lolly - and failed to reach the top six. Manager gave him the full season.

3 of those spots included 3 relegated squads with lots of PL talent. Norwich and West Brom were better sides. Ipswich were freaks. Think its a terrible decision based on the fact the relegated sides next season aren't going to be as strong.

Signed a new 3 year deal not too long ago as well. Won't have been a cheap pay off

Mad decision for me. I’d have thought the 3 coming down are nowhere near as strong as us, Leeds and Southampton dropping last year. They had a great season and if they kept him, they’d have had a great chance at top six again next year. Maybe too reliant on the loan players last campaign, a lot of work on to replace the likes of Zaroury, Delap, Carvalho etc

In these situations always think the best opinion is the general consensus of the other team’s forum and the Tigers lot are very confused and annoyed. On that basis, unless they’re bringing in Will Still, it seems like a daft decision!

I have watched some Leeds fan stuff over the last week, and I can guarantee this is not how they are taking finishing 3rd! 

Talk of relegation to League 1 next season is more their thinking 

 

Come on Norwich or WBA in the Play-offs!

there is the possibility that leeds and southampton are still in the league though

This is true, I’d still think they’d have been in with a good chance next year. His stock will be high at that level after the season he’s had.

A bit harsh on Rosenior imho. The guy has got a lot of potential from what I've seen. I think Hull should have stuck with him. He's done a pretty solid job on the whole.

That sacking reminds me of when we got rid of Pearson and replaced him with Sousa. They will go backwards in my opinion.

Despite thinking it's a mad decision to sack him, in a weird way I like the fact they've stuck to their principle and have acted on the season not meeting their objectives.
