Popular Post Jobyfox Posted 21 October 2023 Popular Post Posted 21 October 2023 We should be grateful that we got our act together in this division quicker than Southampton and Leeds. We all have squads capable of promotion. Ipswich are the unknowns to some extent as we can't be sure whether they'll fall away. 5
MattFox Posted 21 October 2023 Posted 21 October 2023 If we don’t go up from this position it will be all down to us not any other team 1

No team is a threat if we do our job. Just nice to build a cushion for when the inevitable stumble does come 1
EastAnglianFox Posted 21 October 2023 Posted 21 October 2023 At one point in the match Leeds had Piroe, Summerville, James, Bamford, Gnonto and Rutter on the pitch. Most of their games are going to be wild 1

I guess I’m not allowed to talk about Leeds or Ric will sic the thought police on me, but coming back from 2-0 down at halftime against that club in their building is pretty impressive. When they were chasing the third goal Farke had Piroe, Rutter, Bamford, Summerville, Gnonto, and Anthony on the pitch together - basically six forwards. Ipswich is still a bit of an unknown but I think it’ll be an upset if we don’t finish 1-2 with Leeds. Maybe Southampton will have something to say about it but they don’t seem to be on the same level.
Pablito Posted 21 October 2023 Posted 21 October 2023 Leicester City became the first side in the history of the English second tier to win their first six away league games of a season as they came from behind to beat Swansea City. 🤟 3
winteriscoming Posted 21 October 2023 Posted 21 October 2023 Leeds and Southampton both winning today. Can see the Leeds game being our toughest so far. 1

egg_fried_rice Posted 21 October 2023 Posted 21 October 2023 It's us, Ipswich and Leeds for the top 2. I fancy our chances.
egg_fried_rice Posted 21 October 2023 Posted 21 October 2023 Alex Neil with a big win against Sunderland. Might have kept him in a job that.

Lambert09 Posted 21 October 2023 Posted 21 October 2023 there’s still too many defensive issues at leeds. They will continue to drop silly points imo. don’t get me wrong, they will be up there. But 11 points is huge to close down.

ARTY_FOX Posted 21 October 2023 Posted 21 October 2023 It's not between us an anyone. We're all on our own. If we don't win it It's because we royally ****ed it. We're the best team in this league by a ridiculous distance. It's not being cocky. It's not over confidence It's just being realistic. It's ours to lose. 2

Yep, we didn’t need 3 late goals against Norwich because we were always in control.
Md9 Posted 21 October 2023 Posted 21 October 2023 Leeds wolf always be able to come back from losing positions and a better team could probably pick them off on the counter even more. Let’s see how it looks after Xmas hopefully they lose a few between now and then just because it will be funny to see
egg_fried_rice Posted 21 October 2023 Posted 21 October 2023 There's still so many points to play for. We're not promoted until we are promoted, and it doesn't serve us to think any differently. Yes, we *should* win the league and I think we will. But a couple of injuries - to Winks and Mads, for example - could mean it's not quite the cakewalk everyone thinks it'll be. I certainly won't be counting my chickens, but then maybe I'm too pessimistic for my own good! 2
Mr Weller 2 Posted 21 October 2023 Posted 21 October 2023 We’ve won nothing and it’s a long season. Yes, it’s a brilliant start but there’s time for others to catch up so we mustn’t let our guard drop.
jayfox26 Posted 21 October 2023 Posted 21 October 2023 Anything less than 45 wins will be a failure 🤣
