fox_favourite Posted 11 October 2023 Posted 11 October 2023 In all seriousness, the press will no doubt whip this up, but I don't think either will be bothered. It'll be more Vards v fans as usual
majaco Posted 11 October 2023 Posted 11 October 2023 A few years ago didn't Birmingham sack a manager after a reasonable start and replace him with a big name. Is this potentially a repeat of a Birminging decision?

Raj Posted 11 October 2023 Posted 11 October 2023 (edited) ****ing loathe everything about Birmingham. ( unfortunately I have alot of relatives there!). I hate the accent. Actually i despise it. I hate the fans. They make ours look less retarded. The city outside the centre is worst than Leicester, and that's saying something. The fecking chant they sing" Keep right on" just sums up chavvyness. This Zulu w@nker thing is so 80's and they still thrive on it. I will be in proper tourette's mode when they visit the KP. And Rooney is a fat scouse granny f1cker. FLCK BIRMINGHAM Edited 11 October 2023 by Raj 1 1

Asha Posted 11 October 2023 Posted 11 October 2023 Just checking, because I’ve seen it used twice in two pages by @ARM1968 and @Raj, is it OK to use the word “retard” as an insult now? Users have been permanently banned for less, yet neither post has even been deleted.

On a serious note our top ex players make some shit managers e.g. Rooney, Lampard, Gerrard, etc, compared to likes of Pep, Conte, Zidane, Arteta from Europe.

I think Rooney will be a cut above Lampard & Gerrard !! He did a good job at Derby considering the points deduction & can do well at Birmingham if he's backed.

Tom12345 Posted 12 October 2023 Posted 12 October 2023 https://www.planetfootball.com/quick-reads/premier-league-wage-bill-ranking-comparison-league-position With a wage bill of around £60-65m (around mid August so this does not take into account the transfers made towards the end of August), we have the biggest wage bill in the Championship. The lowest is around £2m. Incredibly, despite a massive wage cut during the summer, we still have a wage bill of more than 9 clubs in the EPL according to the above link. No wonder we were deemed to have too good of a squad to have been relegated and to be now playing in the Championship. Having said that, Southampton has a massive wage bill too despite so many departures during the summer. They should be doing much better and may still do so going forward.
