You can't sensibly argue that Farke's starting point in August was as good as Maresca's.  Maresca had a whole month more to prepare and most (appreciate not all) of your key business had been done already.  Most of ours had not been done at all.

Maybe there is an agenda.  I have no idea.  That still doesn't alter the fact that from the point of all these squads being put together and the playing field being more equal, Farke has been the standout manager.  I don't think that's likely to be seen by many as a particularly controversial opinion.  

By that measure none of Klopp, Pep or Arteta will not be nominated for Manager of the season in the Prem, when we know they will.

 

To most people, no, I'm afraid he hasn't. McKenna has.

Mckenna has performed better than any other manager in this league, miles better than Enzo or Farke.

For me, the remaining 7 games are key to who should actually get this, and Enzo should be in the running. Rosenior should have done better on more recent games, and one of Farke, Enzo or Mckenna is going to bottle it.

At the least both Enzo and Farke have so far only done what was expected of them and that is competing for automatic promotion

Imo Robins should be in the running for manager of the season. Semi final of the fa cup and still in with a chance of the playoffs.

tbf a number of managers have done alot better than Rosenior; Corberan at WBA, Robins at Cov are just a couple imo,

Late to the party on this, but as a counter to the "but Leeds lost 11 first team starters from last season" argument:

 

GK Ward and Iversen

LB Thomas and Kristiansen

CB Evans, Soyuncu and Amartey

RB Castagne

LW Barnes

RW Perez

CM Tielemans and Soumare

AM Maddison

 

13 regular starters from last season who haven't featured at all for Leicester this season due to being sold, leaving on a free, loaned out or because they are Danny Ward and thus shit.

Fully agreed and no surprise at all it is Hamza. Technically extremely limited. May be quick and likes to tackle but that is it. 

 

He has had more issues than positives in the club. 

 

- Caught at a party during Covid which cost us 4th in the league. Maddison, Perez and Hamza dropped from the West Ham away game. Lost the game and 4th place

- As of February police quite rightly involved in a drink driving incident when he was caught driving on the wrong side of the road

 

Continually sets a dreadful example and what does Enzo do to set a precedent of indiscipline is make him captain numerous times, and then the board offer him a new deal. Forgetting 18 months ago only Watford were interested to take him on loan at a loss on his wages.

Taking a promoted team to the top of the table with less than 9 games to go.

Leeds as Leicester have done well but ipswich personify everything you could wish from your club.

Farke has no reason being there. He’s achieving what would be expected with the resources available to him. Enzo shouldn’t be either, except for the fact that he oversaw a record breaking first half of the season. 
McKenna will win it and rightly so. Were it not for the record breaking start of Leicester it would have been Ipswich breaking records with a newly promoted side. What he’s achieved has been damn near miraculous (regardless of lucky deflected goals).
