shilton_fox Posted 2 September 2023 Posted 2 September 2023 Southampton look absolutely awful today. Sunderland look like scoring on every attack

Stevosevic Posted 2 September 2023 Posted 2 September 2023 People realising yet that most of this league is crap? We really only need to focus on ourselves. 3

Samilktray Posted 2 September 2023 Posted 2 September 2023 We could have promotion wrapped up by the end of january imho

kingfox Posted 2 September 2023 Posted 2 September 2023 Mason Holgate rivalling Ben Mee’s Leicester debut as the worst debut of all time.

Motivational Martin will have them ‘runnin fru brick walls’ to put it right Backlash or start of a slump? Tough to say. Mind you, if you've just been smacked like this, the last opposition you'd want to play next are a team who are top of the league and bang in form.

MattFox Posted 2 September 2023 Posted 2 September 2023 Clubs with top 10 budgets rarely end up in the championship tbf might be why the rest of the league looks so bad 1
LCFCJohn Posted 2 September 2023 Posted 2 September 2023 Bad day for Southampton! Peak Championship and why it’s a fun League as anybody can do this to each other! Southampton will still be up there though and those celebrating promotion already based on this result are just silly. Even at this early stage of the season, lost points for the likes of Southampton are good for us. 2
OntarioFox Posted 2 September 2023 Posted 2 September 2023 Great goal from Sam Bell to put Bristol City 2-1 up, Sykes absolutely carved through them.

StriderHiryu Posted 2 September 2023 Posted 2 September 2023 Oof that Sunderland scoreline is brutal. Don't take this league for granted, every game is a battle. That said, I just saw a Southampton fan post on Reddit which read: "Everton should be tried for war crimes for sending us Mason Holgate on loan" 1
ARTY_FOX Posted 2 September 2023 Posted 2 September 2023 Southampton to Sunderland on a 12:30 kick off has to be the biggest **** you to the match going fan sky can do? 2

Yet concede an absolute shit load. Can’t not say/hear Brussel Martin now
MPH Posted 2 September 2023 Posted 2 September 2023 If we can get to the end of September still top, it would really give me confidence for automatic promotion… im really surprised in the standard of football in the champ.. we have only played average but everyone else seems to have a few implosions in them. Some of the games we have played, prem teams would have put the chances away and we’d have been mullered. We are top and undefeated but have so much improvement to come…it’s mind blowing, really…
Grebfromgrebland Posted 2 September 2023 Posted 2 September 2023 Our defense still gives me the jitters but we seem to be getting away with it so far
foxfanazer Posted 2 September 2023 Posted 2 September 2023 Had no idea they'd signed Mason Holgate Makes sense now
Guest Kopfkino Posted 2 September 2023 Posted 2 September 2023 Don Goldman’s rimming of Southampton and Russell Martin in this game has got to be one of the weirdest things I’ve heard in commentary for a long time.
