Your 10 Weeks

Mods, maybe this should be for Gen Chat but I’m interested in my fellow FTer’s next 10 weeks. It’s been a rough old season and many of us joked yesterday that we couldn’t wait for it to be over. Well, now it is.

 

What do you have planned for the next 10 weeks while the muppets at our club get us ready for the Championship?

2 weeks holiday, then preseason training for my Sunday team. fortunately most of the team are Leeds fans so there's not gonna be much lip.

Golf. Lots of golf. 

 

And maybe a couple of T20 games (and plenty of beer) down at Northants, only because I'm local to them.

 

I'm going to completely forget about football and enjoy my summer.

 

I'm hoping to enjoy it that much, I won't even care about football again come Autumn.

 

Get me down to a single figure handicap (not going to happen), and I'll throw everything at making the seniors tour in 6 years time

I’m trying not to do this in the summer but knowing I’m not alone won’t help

Not sure I'll even bother with any pre season games (not like that's an issue if we're still playing in Asia)

I actually got out my old fishing gear, not used it for 25 years, going to give it a bash  next week as long as I can see to tie the hooks which I’m not even sure o remember

Got a minor op coming up so will be recovering from that, but intend to hit the gym hard this summer. Relegation might be bad for my mind but it'll be great for my gym sessions, great way to release that frustration. Will also take a holiday with the family, then can't wait to get behind the team to help get us back where we belong.

See my Grandpa (I'm 41, just so you know how special this is)

Lead the Mayor and Lord Lieutenant out for Armed Forces day Parade

Holiday to Lake District.

Have afternoon tea in a very posh hotel for wife's birthday.

We all will, people talking about holidays, cricket, golf etc are in denial!!!

Get new line!!!   The old line would be perished and you'll lose all your tackle!

The women's world cup

The rugby world cup

The ryder cup

Leicestershire in the t20

Plus at least 10 new city signings which should make watching the friendlys quite Intresting.
