I think Top needs to get advice from someone outside the club. Major restructure and rethink required

Just don't think the players look fit judging by the way performance levels drop late on in games and this has been the difference on so many occasions.

Better communication with the fans to keep everyone feeling a part of the club and generating a positive atmosphere even in difficult times

The first thing we need, is a new manager asap. Get that right, and the rest is much easier to fall in place.

Not sure that’s true at all….

Have a deserved fortnight in Dubai

With how partial this club has been to getting bent over and ****ed at every possible opportunity I'm not sure Dubai is the best holiday destination for them

There is so much that needs to improve

Management and board

Communication

Fan engagement

Attitude and behaviour inside the club

Player fitness and attitude

Psychology and belief

Squad depth, contracts, wages

And on and on ......

Exactly that.

Hire a successful DoF, or even a respected football person with experience. Have them review what has gone wrong and why.

Learn our lessons, no manager is big enough to break the structures we had in place.

It sounds wishy-washy but they have to make me fall in love with them again. That means doing things like scrapping the need to have a membership to buy a match ticket, getting rid of all this nonsense like t-shirt cannons, fan cam, clappers etc. Get back in touch with the local community and supporter base and don't be charging a fortune for kids to be mascots.

I really hope they use this as an opportunity to build a team and a club we can be proud of again, hopefully reenergised with a new manager and a group of players that want to play for the badge.

It took us so long to get it right last time before appointing Pearson who then set the foundations for what followed. The problem is we don't have decision makers at the club capable of replicating that. Unless we go up the first time of asking which seems unlikely I think we might be in the doldrums for some time

I would just love some transparency and honesty. I would like us to be run primarily as a football club and not a business. I know this is unlikely to happen as that’s just where the game is.

They just don’t get it at all. The social media team sending out a tweet about the new kit being available at the point of the club being relegated, really WTAF is wrong with you!

Conversations between Top and Big Sue should’ve happened already and the process to identify a new DOF firmly underway.

Likewise, negotiations with the identified new manager should be at an advanced stage.

Tuesday, 9am, Smith’s departure and Rudkins’ sacking should be announced to the media. In a full and Frank statement on the website, Big Sue should off a full and contrite apology to everyone for the woeful failings made by the board, with a detailed vision for the future.

Wednesday, new manager revealed to the world.

Next Monday, press statement detailing competent DOF appointment.

None of this has or will happen. We will continue to refuse to learn from our mistakes, dither and act too late.

I don’t want to see us sign anyone with a poor mentality. If they are coming here for the wrong reasons like the current squad then they can fxck off.

Any new signing has to have the desire to give their all for the club.

It is. It really is a simple game tbh. Get a good manager in. Sell the assets. Buy/loan in the obvious targets at this level. It really is simple.

We need to get an experienced championship a manager and maybe try to poach the head of recruitment or some scouts from Blackburn or similar

We came close to breaking through into the space of the big rich clubs but slightly overstretched ourself just at the same time our performance didn’t quite live up to recent expectations. The EPL is geared towards supporting the status quo and combined with covid induced financial constraints on the owners we have rapidly hit this.downward spiral. Sparing the detail and blame apportionment I think we largely understand the issues and if we accept it then we can move on and address the fight back. Anger is inevitable but as others have said in some ways the clear out will speed our healing process, help limit the damage and if we get it right then we may rebound quicker. The first season back is so crucial though as the chance of languishing at a lower level will increase over time particularly given the servicing cost of our infrastructure. I wonder if others will see us as an attractive project for some new investment?

Rather a competent DoF, managers don’t do everything you seem to think they do (I think) important yes, but it’s not enough on its own.

Get rid of Smith and hire a new manager ASAP and start the rebuild because we go again on 5th August and have so much work to do as a club.

First thing to do is to attend a manager with ambition and tactical knowledge of the game. We need to bounce back quickly. We need a manager that is passionate and active during the games.

Secondly, the board needs to make it clear that the club is not a stepping stone. I know it's a difficult task with all these spoiled modern babies/footballers.

Keep Vardy, Barnes, Iheanacho, KDH, Souttar, Iversen, Faes and probably Soumare in the team. Get rid of all the rest. Pereira is made of glass like Fofana, Castagne is too inconsistent. I don't want players like Maddison in the team. He can go and take his social media addiction with him. Good luck selling him though. No serious manager will want him in their team.
