That's not to say he's bad but he feels more the sort of signing a Blackburn or Millwall would make. I think we can do better. But I hope he proves me wrong should we do it. Is that the Blackburn that looked better than us last time we played them? 🤣 1
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 12 June 2023 Posted 12 June 2023 God I’ve genuinely missed these type of signings!

If he's ever good enough for us I'll be horrified at how far we've fallen. 25 in February, safe to say if you've been through the academies as a boy and still haven't made your mark approaching your 25th birthday then you probably never will. 22 career league goals either in Belgium or League One, we need to be selling these type of profiles for any cash offer. 1
AyewJoking Posted 13 June 2023 Posted 13 June 2023 Uninspiring but we're in the toilet now, gotta play about with the shït.
StriderHiryu Posted 13 June 2023 Posted 13 June 2023 I’ve got no problem signing lower league players, it’s worked well for us in the past. The issue to me is that he’s 26 so hasn’t got that much room to develop, though I suppose you could have said the same thing about Vardy! 4m is great value. Brentford we’re paying over 10 for Toney when they were in the Championship. 1
Shane Posted 13 June 2023 Posted 13 June 2023 his high press could help keep the pressure on when we lose the ball in the final third trying to break down low blocks 1

FrankieADZ Posted 13 June 2023 Posted 13 June 2023 tbf i think we'll maybe selling hirst for between £1.5/2m then buy Yates as Hirst has had 2 loan spells in the championship and wasnt good enough for either Rotherham or Blackburn *me saying that is so going to bite me on the arse
The Guvnor Posted 13 June 2023 Posted 13 June 2023 Looks decent, and from the clip our next penalty taker.

Sol thewall Bamba Posted 13 June 2023 Posted 13 June 2023 Good lord haggling with Blackpool over £500K a striker that got relegated from the Championship. All over isn't it. 1 1
frany104 Posted 13 June 2023 Posted 13 June 2023 I do like the look of him. He clearly takes a good penalty too. still not sure it’s a position we need new signings for yet though. Have to see the outgoings first. I do like the blue print of this signing though. Young (ish), hungry, point to prove and will be buzzing to be at Leicester. 1

UniFox21 Posted 13 June 2023 Posted 13 June 2023 £3m is a small fee, likely small wages too. It's a long season, and we'll need reinforcements. If he does well, chances are we'll be able to sell for £10/15m, if not it's not a big gamble. 1
Foxes96 Posted 13 June 2023 Posted 13 June 2023 (edited) Appears to be a smart signing. Will be interesting what happens with our 3 strikers next season. Could just as easily see all 3 or none here come September, or anything in between. But someone young (ish), cheap and hungry, like Yates, Leaburn or Langstaff as a 3rd choice would be smart business. Or even Clarke-Harris. Edited 13 June 2023 by Foxes96 1
Muzzy_no7 Posted 13 June 2023 Posted 13 June 2023 If Daka or Vardy are leaving then yes but priority for me should be getting a Target man in.
-sodapop Posted 13 June 2023 Posted 13 June 2023 Has something about him for sure, can do a lot worse than 18G+A last season for 3m 3
LCFCCHRIS Posted 13 June 2023 Posted 13 June 2023 We have to gamble on some lower fee players. It’s clear we can no longer spunk 20m - 30m on the soumares and Perezes of this world. You’d just hope the scouting team has done their job and get behind the team that is brought in, as others have mentioned, get players that would be buzzing to get a move to us to advance their careers.
moore_94 Posted 13 June 2023 Author Posted 13 June 2023 If we lose both Nacho and Daka… Vardy, Yates, and someone like Piroe would be 👌🏻 1
