SouthStandUpperTier Posted 14 April 2024 Posted 14 April 2024 Would be kinda funny if the Spurs women win a trophy before their men do though. 3

Angus Scott Posted 14 April 2024 Posted 14 April 2024 The better side, more possession, but created very few clear chances. Where have I seen that before? 1

We are well and truly finished as an institution. What a stupid comment. Women’s club have come up from the very bottom. Spurs were heavy favourite. Thought Leicester were the better side for the majority of it and didn’t get the luck. Should have had a pen, how the Spurs player didn’t even get a yellow for a knee high challenge and hit the bar. 6
moore_94 Posted 14 April 2024 Posted 14 April 2024 (edited) Ah that is a shame They have played well today and Spurs had to rely on a mistake and a jammy deflection to score, we also should've had a penalty Staying up and an FA Cup semi-final whilst having the crap going on with the manager has been a good season for them Get these next 4 games out the way then get the new manager sorted quickly Edited 14 April 2024 by moore_94 4
Popular Post Hales Posted 14 April 2024 Popular Post Posted 14 April 2024 Sick of people throwing the bottle job term around.... Pathetic Those girls gave everything Be a fan instead of jumping on to criticise! 13
RonnieTodger Posted 14 April 2024 Posted 14 April 2024 Real shame, would’ve been great to see the women go to Wembley. 1

Popular Post StanSP Posted 14 April 2024 Popular Post Posted 14 April 2024 All this talk of bottling doesn't sit right with me, definitely not for the women's team. They gave it a good go and there's quite clearly a big gulf still in money between the sides. They've done so well to get to the semis and perhaps next year they go a step further! Gave it their best, and they didn't give up. They're making strides and improving year upon year. 8 2
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 14 April 2024 Posted 14 April 2024 They gave it everything they had. Just didn't quite have enough to see it through. 2

RonnieTodger Posted 14 April 2024 Posted 14 April 2024 I don’t mind it being at Tottenham’s ground to be honest. We only get 2,000 for home games. They’ve played in front of what 18,000? Instead of a fraction at a neutral ground. 1

I've mentioned before that the even stranger thing is that the two semi-finals I've attended were at neutral grounds so they've actually chosen to go this way instead. Bizarre.

I know its not her day job, but the stand in manager has been poor in team selection and subs in my opinion.
CosbehFox Posted 14 April 2024 Posted 14 April 2024 Btw the bbc coverage is it was quite clear they’d done zero research on either team bar the England internationals and if they had made an impact against the big four of women’s football. The decision makers with women’s football are killing its potential by making it completely ape the men’s game. They had a great chance to encourage competitive, level playing field and the gaps between levels are even worst now 3

Worth mentioning Spurs get the same attendances (2,000) at Brisbane Road week to week 1
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 14 April 2024 Posted 14 April 2024 Man United 2-0 up on Chelsea. Looking like a big opportunity missed by us.
