Reached total agreement……..apart from the part the agreement that involves the figures of money and type of transfer or loan 😂

Reached total agreement with Castagne… bit pointless if the Italian peasants can’t agree with the selling club lol

We’d prefer a complete sale, they’d prefer a loan. Player would be open to going back to Italy.

Hopefully this will kick Arsenal into putting a concrete offer down.

Brighton are apparently interested

Juventus don't want to pay more than €10m for him

Brighton & Hove Albion have now entered the race to sign Leicester City defender Timothy Castagne in the summer window, according to a report from Italy.

The former Atalanta man has been linked with a return to Serie A after the Foxes’ dropped out of the Premier League. Juventus are one of his suitors and need to be wary about the Seagulls.

That’s at least what Tutto Juve are reporting and add that Brighton have identified the 27-year-old as a target in this window.

Operating mainly as a right-back and at times as a left-back, he managed two goals and four assists from 42 games last season. It’s said Roberto De Zerbi’s side ‘appreciate’ the Leicester player’s versatility.

Castagne’s deal lasts until 2025, and with regards to the Turin club, the outlet states they want the Belgium international but don’t intend to spend more than €10m to secure his services. The Seagulls may be in a position to offer more than this to Leicester.

It’s further claimed the Old Lady would face competition from the Premier League side to sign the fullback. That’s all the report has to say about Brighton.

Get rid for £10m, he has cost this club enough in points from his constant terrible positioning, lack of awareness and ease at passing back at most opportunities.

The only plus is if he starts next season there won’t be VAR to notice that he had kept players onside that weren’t even part of the attack.

Agent touting  him around a bit.

That was obvious after his quote on Twitter about a week ago. Desperate to leave obviously, hope he has to settle for someone worse than he hoped liked Maddison and Youri did.

I think this has actually been a big eye opener for many.

So far only Cags has made a massive step up and gone to a huge club.

Edit: obviously spurs are a big side, but they're needing a huge, huge rebuild so I'm not including them as a "huge" step up.

Cags has no contract and was not on big wages, so its not quite the same situation - he could be regarded as a low risk punt

I'm confident that a club will come in with 15million for him during this window. Worth waiting for, as opposed to selling for anything under that.

I want players gone, but we shouldn't be diddled on every bloody deal!
