He came highly rated after the failed experiment of Dr Bryan English (a supposed Rodgers recommendation).

Our injury record, despite being told would get better without European demands wasn't that much better but maybe it takes time to reverse broken players, if at all.

Hopefully a new era, with an entire new squad we can prevent injuries and keep our squad fit. The fact the academy seems even worse in that regard to the 1st team is a concern, something in the air at SeaGRAVE.

In the air?  I had thought the AstroTurf

Another member of staff needed then. Still frustrating that Maresca hasn't brought an Ass. man or any coaches in yet.

Well, if nothing else it shows that things are definitely happening behind closed doors .

Be interesting to know who made this decision - if it was enzo's wish, then it shows that he's already trying to correct areas of weakness; if it was the board's initiative then it shows they aren't as blind to issues as many would have us believe - either way it's certain a sign that bad shit is getting fixed.

Can’t think of a single player that we had to humanely dispatch under his watch.

Even managed to keep Jonny Evans alive when he’d have faced the twelve bore at most derbies.

Unquestionable success.

To be fair he had a clear objective and high success rate*

*Perhaps higher than the successful criminal prosecution evidence suggests!

If nothing else, we wouldn’t get stuck with players sitting around on big wages for the duration of their long contracts.

Great news following on from Rogers and the CFO.  Now move on to the other piles of dead-wood and get this Club on to an upward path.

Top - Who is to blame for our amateurish season and relegation?

Whelan - Well, I stepped in and got involved with the Fofana sell and made us a bit more coin, Jon???

Rudkin - Oi, boss…..look what I can do (has a random hula hoop with him), I mean can I do anymore work for the KP?

Top - Great idea….you’re now the head doctor.

I wouldn’t get your hopes up mate.

With all due respect you have absolutely no idea what happened behind the scenes, why certain decisions were made or not made, what was possible what was never going to happen - it's all just conjecture and scapegoating - no one, i'm sure the board included, wanted us to get relegated, but this ongoing farce our fans have created that suddenly the best rganised and owned team in the league had just suddenly given up and/or completely forgotten how to run a club.

My hopes are pretty high, actually, because i'm confident that the ability and commitment that won us the league and the FA cup and assembled the two best teams i've ever seen play for Leicester remains. :)

We have been a complete shambles on & off the pitch for the past 18 months.

2 out of 3 of our professional teams have been relegated, the women very close to going down aswell. We’ve let nearly £100 million pounds worth of players walk away for free with another 6 also out of contract next season. We let our club captain and number 1 goalkeeper go 4 days before the start of the season without an adequate replacement. Rodgers should have been sacked back in September instead they didn’t act until we finally dropped into the relegation zone just a few days after having a 2 week international break where we could have got someone else in. It then took them 9 days to appoint an out of work manager and in doing so left us with a pair of PE teachers in charge of 2 vital winnable home games.

You are right they haven’t just suddenly forgot how to run a club, this has been brewing for a couple of years. And instead of Top owning and admitting they made mistakes he sent out a message saying people had been calling him mean names.

Yes, and you have absolutely no understanding why these decisions were made, none of us do - but, obviously, you and all these other arm chair pundits feel qualified to make judgements? Perhaps Top hasn't admitted to making mistakes because he's actually involved in running the club and understands why these decisions were made and feels like the decisions were made because either a9 they were the right decisons for the club long term, or b) because he had no other choice.

You don't know and unless you have some insight into the club, you aren't in a position to be able to call things a shambles - you're entitled to that opinion, but it's only that, an opinion.
