They rarely use their kids, they just sell them on, a bit like Man City.

It's all about the here and now for the likes of Chelsea and Man City, so instead of giving their kids a chance, unless they are clearly exceptional, then they just chuck money at the best players available to them from other clubs.

Man City were a little better last season last season with Palmer and Lewis getting 14 PL apps each.

Considering the news of our interest broke early and it’s still rumbling on - Pretty safe to assume he’s Maresca’s main target for the middle of the park.

I think it’s clear that he ideally wants a PL or top flight loan as that is what his agent leaked to Romano as well. 
 

But hopefully Maresca can convince him and he’s properly motivated (i.e chooses to come to us rather than being forced to).

Yeah we were getting him on loan but I think it was Birmingham offered him a permanent deal.
