Everyone on here (which was most) who wanted Vardy booted out of the club during his first season vs. everyone who didn't during his second.

Guilty as charged.....when WBA came with a £500,00 offer(i think) i'd have drove him to the Hawthorns!

Literally every player has split opinion in here over the last few years, except perhaps Robert Huth, who was universally accepted as a great signing.

Like many others I didn't get Ben Chilwell. We were wrong.

Were we ?

I mean I wouldn’t say he’s been outstanding at Chelsea

I loved Guppy, he was my favourite player but he used to get endless stick from the area I sat in at Filbert Street.

King as well, fantastic player for us, obviously his influence waned as we grew but he got so much unwarranted stick.

Honestly can’t remember which side of the fence I sat - but knowing I’m wrong about pretty much everything I was probably the same 😁

I was in the underwhelmed camp. Guilty.

Some players, Musa, Bennett have merely split opinion on sh1te or really sh1te, does that count?

Back in the day, David Oldfield was one of those players. Some loved him because he worked his socks off and had some undeniable flair. We saw him run the length of the pitch, step over upon step over, before falling over when it came round to taking a shot, more than once. Others saw him as accident-prone, weak, and there were all sorts of homophobic comments about him which were neither nice, nor necessarily a reflection of his life choices. If he'd scored the chance he had at Wembley in 1993, he'd have gone down in LCFC folklore. But in the end he spent a year and a half on a rolling contract, before his career fizzling out god knows where.

In more recent times, obviously Amartey and Albrighton.
