I'm guessing it's early kick off as there's 94 hours between this game finishing and the Spurs game, so we will fly straight to Bangkok after the game. I don't reckon that flight will be wasted either. No doubt we can watch videos of team shape. 3pm flight hopefully, 14 hour flight, time for a couple hours video analytics I'm there. 5am arrival, after a good sleep on the plane, get on the grass 12pm Thu 20th July for a light shadow positioning session. We can get a good session in Friday.

I don’t see Enzo,showing any inclination until maybe last pre-season game ,

which players are going to be the chosen/ prefered 14-16 first choice players.

This will be another pre season game trying to see how far the players have come in implementing his style of play & tactics, but still wanting to look at different groups and triangles of players.

Opoku hat trick

Just wondering if this was set up so Enzo could take a look at Opoku in a competitive match see if he’s a Maresca type of player then get him over to City??

As mentioned another post, should be played in front of fans maybe not at the KP, but a local ground like Leicester Road, Coalville Town, Barwell, Quorn AFC... etc. Raise funds for local non league clubs in the process help attract a huge crowd. Be good for both sides playing in front of big crowd in a smaller ground, rather playing on empty training ground or half empty stadium.

Those pitches simply aren't good enough for this standard of football at this stage of the year, Quorn aside, as that's artificial. Loughborough Uni could've been an option.

Is this streamed anywhere? 8pm Wednesday night for me, that never happens!

Doubtful, the Northampton stream was up listed a few days before on YouTube, nothing about this game being on our official YouTube

Playing in another hot climate abroad, will help.

Truthfully it should of been played at OHL.

Think a lot of folk underestimate the organisation + stewarding. It can be done but I don't think the profits are as big as they once were.

Equally pro clubs get all uppity about changing rooms and also sorts of crap. They ain't going to play on 4G as you mention as well.

I don't understand why we aren't putting an Under 23s out to the Leicestershire clubs though. Man U sent a team to Gainsborough this weekend as part of their 150 anniversary celebrations. The young lads get a bit of lesson and the host club takes the money.

The website doesn’t appear to acknowledge it’s happening.

Aye, I think also we don't have a squad at present to play any more than that in a short space of time. I'm definitely worried about the two games in Asia and potential for injury. Just hope we take the majority of the U21's with us too and play a half each.
