Have to say Stoneygate was very nice. Lived on Woodland Avenue for 10 years. Good times.

Used to walk that road many a year ago with my ex. Maybe you remember me?

Footballers have wives and girlfriends who  like to shop and socialise. The village pub and tearooms won't impress them. Leicester would be way down the list of locations to socialise in England. Too many underestimate the power that they have over the partners. Driving 60 miles to training is also nobody's idea of fun even if you have a chauffeur.

I'd wager this is part of the reason Maddison went to spurs rather than newcastle.

Or that Newcastle didn’t actually agree terms with Madders so no deal was pursued?

Pretty sure a lot of rumours were that Madders seemed very keen on the move to Newcastle, as they’re much more likely to be playing regularly in the Champions League than Spurs are.

Newcastle is a great place for young people to socialise but it is bloody cold especially when the wind blows off the sea. Definitely not for everybody. Its not all about the Champions League.

Ie. Madders didn't agree terms because he didn't want to go to Newcastle?? You seem to be agreeing by stealth?

In the context that his wife is an American model who'd spent time there, yeah of course.

But equally why didn't Barnes wait out for the interest of other clubs? It's all relevant to an individual's relationship.

No doubt there were financial issue but Maddison is clearly very close to his immediate family and has a young family of his own, i doubt he wanted to be that far away from them.

Usually mate, usually 🤣.  Massive place. Switherland slate roof. Iron gates in a privet hedge. White arched porch. First house round the corner from Toller Road. Sure I remember you mincing by with your misses. Long time ago now.

Not going to lie, if that clicks the highlights will qualify for porn hub.

The fact that that team currently has Iversen, Ward, McAteer, JJ, Kristiansen, Thomas, Ndidi, Faes, Castagne, Vardy, Daka, Albrighton, Praet, Choudhury, Vestergaard. Madivadua in reserve is bonkers. Need 4 or 5 gone, with Praet, Castagne, Choudhury, Ward top of my list.

Think it'll be Vardy/Daka and the shape is off a little bit yeah basically. Can imagine that being more or less the first choice 11.

We'll be OK without any injuries.
