Or that Newcastle didn’t actually agree terms with Madders so no deal was pursued?

 

Pretty sure a lot of rumours were that Madders seemed very keen on the move to Newcastle, as they’re much more likely to be playing regularly in the Champions League than Spurs are.

Newcastle is a great place for young people to socialise but it is bloody cold especially when the wind blows off the sea. Definitely not for everybody. Its not all about the Champions League.

In the context that his wife is an American model who'd spent time there, yeah of course. 

 

But equally why didn't Barnes wait out for the interest of other clubs? It's all relevant to an individual's relationship.

No doubt there were financial issue but Maddison is clearly very close to his immediate family and has a young family of his own, i doubt he wanted to be that far away from them.

Usually mate, usually 🤣.  Massive place. Switherland slate roof. Iron gates in a privet hedge. White arched porch. First house round the corner from Toller Road. Sure I remember you mincing by with your misses. Long time ago now.

Like Casadei, very surprised if this doesn't happen.

 

Really hope so as well, those two make a massive amount of difference to an already very strong squad.

 

Get those involved with the right mentality and there's every chance we go close for an immediate return.

The fact that that team currently has Iversen, Ward, McAteer, JJ, Kristiansen, Thomas, Ndidi, Faes, Castagne, Vardy, Daka, Albrighton, Praet, Choudhury, Vestergaard. Madivadua in reserve is bonkers. Need 4 or 5 gone, with Praet, Castagne, Choudhury, Ward top of my list.
