I expected this.  We signed a champoinship player.....who failed in the prem before.

He keeps playing what I call blind balls, usually after a 180 degree turn and into central areas of the pitch - the kind of thoughtless sloppiness that would get called out if I did it in a works staff 5 a-side. Does he watch the performances back between games?

He’s not very good. 
Good Chammo player in the right system.

Really exposed at top level, just pointless to have him on the pitch unless we have 90% possession and go backwards

Kasper Schmeical recently said the player he hated playing against the most was Jonjo Shelvey " he would shoot from anywhere and when least expected.I had to concentrate all the time he was on the pitch"

 contrast with Harry Winks 2 goals in 143 premier league appearances ( albeit sometimes as a substitute) ...remember him scoring from outside the box last season and he looked as though he could hardly believe it himself.

He loses possession too easily in midfield for me, And many of them has lead to goals for the opposition.

 

He has to do much better himself, He should be directing Bilal and Facundu on the pitch also.] showing leadership and committment.

 

He has the ability, He just needs to produce it regularly.

Shelvey's teammates hated playing with him for the same reason, im sure!

Crazy how one good season in the championship hoodwinked our fanbase into thinking Harry Winks is a good player.

 

You even get some fans saying he would look decent in a top 6 side, the reality is he's not good enough for this level, there's a reason he's played a similar number of league minutes for us in 2 seasons as he did in 6 or so for Spurs.

A nothing player, unless he has a quality DM alongside him.

I just look at it and think today we lost 4 nil and whatever went on.....our £25 million summer signing who is fully fit wasn't considered.

Confidence player in a failing system with no support. This is what happens. He's not going to set the world on fire at his best, but we're doing nothing to help him perform to his best.
