HankMarvin Posted 12 August 2023 Posted 12 August 2023 Feels as bad as last season just against worse opposition. 1
Bourbon Fox Posted 12 August 2023 Posted 12 August 2023 Tell you what though, I love watching this Winks - Ricardo - KDH - Doyle interplay in the middle. It's like we own the centre of the park - so much better than the terrible gulf that became a hallmark of the Rodgers era 1

DezFox Posted 12 August 2023 Posted 12 August 2023 That half was honestly disgusting. Very very poor from Leicester. There is not a chance we get promotion playing like that. I really hope we can improve. 1 3
StanSP Posted 12 August 2023 Posted 12 August 2023 I think for me the best change would be to bring Hamza or Ndidi on for Wanya, put him in the middle and put Pereira on the right wing. It's not pretty, but we should be ahead. Huddersfield doing a lot of chasing and pressing. I hope our fitness pays off. Just need to create more in the final third or when we get into the box. 1
Guest Kopfkino Posted 12 August 2023 Posted 12 August 2023 It’s really poor. The process and the transfer games taking priority over being able to play well now and get 3 points. So disconnected, too much distance between players, too much space to get out when we concede possession.

I think MM is on the periphery but getting unfair pelters - not as bad as some are making out. But wing and 8 are the two big holes in our team, as everyone knows. Let’s hope they get filled soon. Don’t think they’ve defended that well, we got in behind about 5-6 times but completely toothless. Wanya needs to cross that ball at the end, so frustrating the amount of chances we utterly squandered
Dahnsouff Posted 12 August 2023 Posted 12 August 2023 Shame Viktor is not fit or staying, or I will replace Vestergaard with him Suspect the Terriers might be getting tired later in the 2nd half (hope so) Love you Kel, but its not some Tekkers video, there is no I (anacho) in team mate
Chrysalis Posted 12 August 2023 Posted 12 August 2023 Problem again we not looking dangerous in their box, we can get over the half line and even pass it around a bit outside their box, but no dangerous penetration.
Benji Posted 12 August 2023 Posted 12 August 2023 They’ll tire second half. Won’t be used to this level of chasing. 1
lcfcdamo Posted 12 August 2023 Posted 12 August 2023 People on here so many pathetic idiots like get a grip we are doing some good things we are bound to be open at times and give chances away in this system we have done some very good things 1
lgfualol Posted 12 August 2023 Posted 12 August 2023 Just need to finally score one chance. Not doing bad. 2

Can see late goals for us here. Patience needed. That said, Praet looks knackered already and has been poor, needs to come off. Ndidi on. Wanya looking technically good, but poor decision making.

Lambert09 Posted 12 August 2023 Posted 12 August 2023 are people hating on praet just because he missed that chance? He’s made a few decent runs that have been ignored. Seems to be doing alright to me 🤷♂️ 2
Swarles Barkley Posted 12 August 2023 Posted 12 August 2023 They will tire hopefully but some of the decisions in the final third have been awful
The Quick Brown Fox Posted 12 August 2023 Posted 12 August 2023 Looks to me like we are planning on a strong finish against a tired Huddersfield. We are making them run themselves into the ground. Their closing down has been great so far but there is no way they continue to do that for the full 100 minutes. 2
StriderHiryu Posted 12 August 2023 Posted 12 August 2023 (edited) I feel like in the last 10 minutes of that half we took control, as their players started to get tired. Neil Warnock deserves a lot of credit. They probably have 10% of our wage budget and a team that almost went down to League One last season, but put up a great fight, and could easily have scored themselves. We've got in a few times though, Praet should have scored, Nacho should have laid it off. Wanya Marcal I think has been our best player! Other than that wild shot, he's in the thick of things, making things happen. Ricardo also have a great game too. Edited 12 August 2023 by StriderHiryu 1
Finnegan Posted 12 August 2023 Posted 12 August 2023 Me calling for Praet to start over Ndidi because chances kept falling to Wilf One thing is for certain though, whoever starts in that RCM position is going to get loads created for them. 1
Number 6 Posted 12 August 2023 Posted 12 August 2023 Pretty even half. Both teams have had big chances. Hudds working very hard, as you'd expect. Probably need to assert a bit more control and wear them down second half.
Foxin_Mad Posted 12 August 2023 Posted 12 August 2023 (edited) Far from HMS piss the league, more like HMS pissing mid table. There's zero creativity, Nacho is wasteful but in fairness without him we would have zero threat, Vardy of Daka can not operate with no service. Defensively if we come up against a more clinical attack, we will conceed a lot. If that useless **** Rudkin could get his head out his asshole it would be great. Edited 12 August 2023 by Foxin_Mad
jayfox26 Posted 12 August 2023 Posted 12 August 2023 Really frustrating first half. Clear to see that Huddersfield are dreadful yet they could have scored as our defence is all over the place. Our decision making in the final 3rd has also been terrible. Twice Wanya should have done better when we were 3 on 1 but couldn't make his mind up what to do and then Iheanacho should have played in Mavididi instead of shooting. Doubt Maresca will have been impressed with that half. Really sloppy in possession which he'll not be happy about.

Annoyingly I think Wanya has been ok. He has taken on a man and started an attack a few times.
