The longer this goes on there won’t be much excitement about playing us. Star-factor raising of the game novelty has already worn off I think, we’ll just grind teams down if today is anything to go by. Very efficient. Onwards.

Before the match, I found myself agreeing with some of the fellows early in the match thread who said they hoped we won. Now that it is over and we have won, I am glad we have won.

What a strange game, Very rocky first half and could have given away a few more goals if blackburn had a bit more quality, 2nd half was improved, at the 75th minute we are all nailbiting again feeling like we are going to throw it away, scored a penalty and then looked like a top top class team in the final 15 almost taunting them, we went through ever season in 1 game.

Flattering result for the most part but can't have any gripes with another 3 points on the board. Faes, Bestergaard, Winks and Wilfred Ndinho the class acts, long may it continue.

Great result and the quality in this squad at this level is clearly unfair. Thought we were comfortably second best between both boxes but apart from the press at the start of the game, just far better in the areas that mattered. 
 

Blackburn shouldn’t stay down where they are for the quality of some of their play and how well drilled they are tactically. Wouldn’t be surprised to see someone take JDT soon as he’s not gonna get any investment there.

Good job we turned it round from it going 1-1 else I’d have been complaining about us stupidly gifting their goal but we duly did turn it round.

 

Don’t think Enzo seemed very happy with the performance and it wasn’t that good but the score line says different. Very impressive score line! Looked quite comfortable and easy!

Felt well scrappy and we still end up winning a rather comfortable 4-1. Vestergaard with important blocks and winning a penalty to seal the game. My man of the match.

Watching that 2nd half was akin to trying to crack one off to Ann Widdecombe on strictly, certainly not pretty but got the end result that was intended

Shame for McAteer but I think we can cope with Mavididi, Fatawu and Akgun. Plus Marçal-Madivadua may have an opportunity to come back into the squad. Hopefully we can give Kasey a chance to take his time and come back in peak condition.

 

Great result against a side that could've picked us off today. The quality shone through, especially for Vardy and KDH's goals.
