shailen Posted 18 October 2023 Posted 18 October 2023 Just a bit of fun. Given we've won 10 of the first 11, just thought it'd be interesting to see how many championship games people think we will win by the end of the season??
Nalis Posted 18 October 2023 Posted 18 October 2023 30-34 seems realistic. Thats 20-24 out of the remaining 35 games.
Popular Post kingcarr21 Posted 18 October 2023 Popular Post Posted 18 October 2023 I went for 40+. Can you imagine if we finish on over 120 points 6
moore_94 Posted 18 October 2023 Posted 18 October 2023 31 games won is the record so far which was us in 13/14 and also Reading in 05/06 when they got the record 106 points I think we have a very good chance at bettering both records this season, but maybe not with 35+ wins
CPepFox Posted 18 October 2023 Posted 18 October 2023 Went 30-34 also. Feel like club could win more, but there is always a couple times when things just go awry.

Lionator Posted 18 October 2023 Posted 18 October 2023 Even if we only win 17 or 18 more, that's promotion more or less guaranteed when you consider the likelihood of draws, which is wild. 1
Zear0 Posted 18 October 2023 Posted 18 October 2023 As above, wheels about to come off. I'm not as pessimistic though so going for 11. 2
jayfox26 Posted 18 October 2023 Posted 18 October 2023 If we won 35 that's 105 points. That leaves 11 games and lets be honest, it's highly unlikely we lose that many games. Burnley only lost 3. I don't think we will lose more than 5. So let's say 35 wins and 6 draws would be 111 points. Would be nice but this is based on our current form and we need to hope that key players like Winks don't get injured. Any injured to Justin or Ricardo could also be a huge problem with Doyle being out but i still feel we have a very good chance of beating Reading's record. Whilst Brendan liked to use injuries as an excuse, Enzo seems to find solutions when we have had Injuries. 2
trabuch Posted 18 October 2023 Posted 18 October 2023 Had to go for 30-34 (which I think is reasonable). It will be more though...

We need 21 wins out of 35 games to best that record which on current form looks more than achievable.
shailen Posted 19 October 2023 Author Posted 19 October 2023 The other thing as well is that we didn't look overly fluid the first few games but we seem to have got into a rhythm. You would think our results should naturally get better the further we go into the season.
DoveValleyFox Posted 19 October 2023 Posted 19 October 2023 26-10-10 should be enough so I voted there. Yes, we are capable of more but at this stage I'm only interested in us getting out of this division.

FoyleFox Posted 19 October 2023 Posted 19 October 2023 I daren't vote in case it's me that jinxes the operation 1
walkerleeds Posted 19 October 2023 Posted 19 October 2023 Anyone know the average number points for automatic promotion?
