First half even and funtunste to be ahead. Second, We created loads, their keeper did fantastic, Sunderland stepped up in the last 15 after seeing us not take our chance to extend. On the whole it has been a good performance

But on the balance of chances I think we deserved to get the win

 

Fair play to Sunderland though, nice to have a team come here and finally have a go and test us

 

Not every game this season will be on easy one with absolute domination, going to be all about us getting 3 points out of tough games like this

Penalty each as well. They had no shots on target 2nd half but it was the amount of opportunities they created that were concerning. First time I'd say we looked tired but we did dig in and saw it through.

Tough game, be interesting to see how that'd have gone with a referee who knew what a foul was given there was at least one penalty each way he missed.

 

You can see why Sunderland dicked Southampton, their pressing was very good and would absolutely destroy the BTEC Brendan

A difficult watch at times, Sunderland were decent and their keeper did very well.

But our quality still shone through.

Lessons to take away, it will make us stronger still no doubt.
