Popular Post Mungongo Posted 26 November 2023 Popular Post Posted 26 November 2023 Pep Guardiola plans to sign Argentinian left back Valentin Barco for Manchester City - and send him on loan to his pal Enzo Maresca at Leicester City. Guardiola’s transfer team are closing on a deal for the superb Boca Juniors defender and are ahead of Brighton in the chase to bring him to the Premier League. However the Manchester City boss’s idea is to farm out Barco to old coaching sidekick Maresca once they sign him because they think he needs the experience. It could be a massive boost for Leicester as they push on for promotion if City can do the deal in January. But even if Barco is delayed until next season Guardiola is still keen to send him to the Leicester ‘finishing school’ before he uses him at the Etihad. Barco has a fixed fee of around £10 million but extra costs take the transfer worth up to £13 million. However Guardiola is keen to land the player who has shone at club level and was a stand out in the recent Copa Libertadores final. Brighton hoped to win the chase after making the first serious bid for Barco but even they now fear they only have a 25 per cent chance 5

Ric Flair Posted 26 November 2023 Posted 26 November 2023 He'd be a weapon at this level in various positions.
jayfox26 Posted 26 November 2023 Posted 26 November 2023 Guys an absolute monster on fm24, was my first leicester signing. Can play anywhere down the left or centre mid. His versatility would be immense for us. 2
FoxesWalk Posted 26 November 2023 Posted 26 November 2023 He is too good for this level. Would be a superb signing. He could slot into the majority of prem or European sides already. Â Â 2 1
Bryn Posted 26 November 2023 Posted 26 November 2023 Also got him on FM24 at Leicester. Â Did not expect him to be ginger.

I have no doubt that he has the skills needed to develop into a number 10 but he really does not play in that position for Boca. Edited 26 November 2023 by The_77

If he's good enough for premiership but not city, we may be there by that time and you extend the loan by a year. 1

wardyfox86 Posted 26 November 2023 Posted 26 November 2023 First signing you make on FM24 and that's anywhere on the left you need, sorted. Even plays CM. Â FM never gets it wrongÂ

phildw Posted 26 November 2023 Posted 26 November 2023 Not a chance he is coming to play second tier football in England. The ridiculous January transfer speculation has started very early.Â

I know we had a lot of players to replace, but I do worry that with so many loan signings that when we end up in the Premier League we have to replace 4-5 starters meaning we lose all the fluency built up this season. Â But I suppose that even if such a deal was agreed, they would only agree to the additional 12 months IF we get to the Premier League. Â This guy is considered one of the best talents in South American football, so will be an exciting one to see play if he ends up here. Being left-footed I guess he will rotate with JJ until Doyle is back, but he could play as winger or one of the number 8's. With the way Pep plays, I could see him being used in the Ricardo style role, which would be a good reason to send him here, IE being an inverted CB that is highly comfortable on the ball.
