This, and also I still think it's utterly shit to get knocked out of the FA Cup in the early rounds. A real low moment in any season for me when you see another team progressing at your expense that you know you should've beaten, especially at home.

This is an important game for me, we need to build confidence and get some good performances from the rest of the squad. 

 

It would be great if the likes of Akgun, Vardy, Doyle are banging on Enzo's door Monday wanting a spot against Swansea / Stoke. 

 

We need the squad to start pulling their weight especially when we have 2 or 3 first teamers out.

We should rotate, but Akgun, Doyle, Coady, Nelson, Vardy etc should be looking to make a statement.

Problem for me, is the same issue we've had all season - how can we rest Winks bearing in mind the system which we play, for the cup games! Answer: we can't!

Yes we can. Ricardo could comfortably play the Winks role in that position. The Cup game would be a perfect time to try him there.

Rest him for a couple of games out of choice or be forced to rest him for a dozen games because of injury.

We've played the same amount of games as everyone else, and had the luxury of rotating more than most teams in the division. We've also controlled possession in so many games, so have done a lot less chasing. Absolutely no reason why we should look shattered.

Think after the drop points in the last two, I think Enzo may select a strong XI and really go for this. Wouldn't do morale any good to have no win in three. I really keen to see Cannon and Vardy start together, there's opportunity for some special there. Small Heath won't be an easy fixture now under Mowbray, his teams tend to be hard to beat as we seen with former Sunderland side down the KP. Sadly 4k Blue nose supporters will be making a lot of noise on their big day out.

It's the FA Cup! A chance for a trip to Wembley! A cup run! Win on Saturday and we're two games from Wembley. This is what it's all about.

 

If this team is as good as most people think it is, we can certainly manage a cup run alongside promotion. You only have to look to last season - Sheff Utd got to the semis last season whilst getting promoted.
