I think Coady needs to be integrated in to the side for the next 3 matches with Vestergaard about to go in to 2 match ban in the league. Up front I would start Tom Cannon as I think he was developing nicely before Daka returning.

Afcb first team looked spent tonight vs man city at the end

Short turnaround for them. Think they will rotate but still go for it. So should we

This is where we want to be as a club going for promotion and far in the cup

Sister Act II..Running Scared of taking on the challenge

Every reason except for not doing it..!!
Tomorrow Sunday 3 days of  shitting your pants..

Vesty has to play given his impending vacation, but I don't think you can risk Faes in the circumstances.  Seems a given you'd give Kelechi a start up front and see whether he can find some form.  In-between I imagine you'd see most of the guys Enzo plans to start on the weekend on the bench.

We did a few weeks ago but things have changed quite a lot now and it's full concentration on league. I am usually all for the cup and never see disadvantages of a run, but I do if we go further now.

What's the issue with playing your best eleven?

You can't go into every game saying X might get injured, or you'd start doing it against Rotherham at home in the league. Players get injured, but most of the time they don't. They could just as easily get injured in training. What do you do, start being cagey during training?

It wouldn't be for tiredness. If elite athletes can't run around for ninety minutes on Tuesday and not be ready to go on Saturday, then there's something wrong with the training and game recovery regime.

Think of the Olympics. You get a 5,000 metres runner. They'll run a heat, and three/four days later, they'll be running in the final, and bettering their time.

Try and win the game. Massive boost if we do.

Give Winks a rest, we need him for far more important games. I can't see Iheanacho playing again but we need to be getting game time into Cannon, he's our future. Also, unless there really are appearance issues, let's give Akgun some game time because the hapless Mcateer sure isn't cutting the mustard!

How many times do we check to see if Nacho can find some form  !!!

He walks at the end of the season after an under achieving season in the Champ so we owe him nothing & he owes us even less.
