Call me a conspiracy theorist but this seems to happen regularly towards the end of our seasons. You wonder if our best players end up on a promise, and told to tamp down the effort a bit to keep their price down.

hang on to the fact that we had a massive points lead so the tactics clearly work, because the other way to look it, is the points lead we had has clearly been surrendered since. 

No doubting we've surrendered the lead because of poor form but for 30 games we're so good we're talking points records. This happens to every football team, dips in confidence, form drops etc. Do you drop a successful style because of 4/5 bad games or do you try to get that confidence back? Bit late to be changing styles and formations when we're ¾ of the way through.

Well, this is depressing. Really thought our attack would overwhelm these, but only great keeping and unpunished fouls have stopped this being a rout in the other direction.

 

They've had their most shots in a half of football this season and we've had zero on target.

 

Wonder if Enzo will spot the problems and attempt a tactical change to solve them... 

 

Fingers crossed for this half anyway 🙏
