The list goes on.  An incredible woman and a life well lived.

The classification of a legend is often bandied about any death of a famous person but, given where she came from, a family of 8 I think, living in nit much more than a shed. To go on to achieve what she did for  so much and so many whilst remaining so humble and kind. 

I don't think we fully understand her impact and presence on, not just music, but the wider world.

A remarkable individual.

100%. You don't get to as big as what she was for as long as what she was for JUST music. THAT is what makes her an icon.
