Decent first few fixtures, but it's hard to know whether that run-in is good or bad.

 

The March and April fixtures preceding it are horrific and the pressure could really be on going into those final 5 matches against potential relegation rivals. Luckily, we have a rich history of dealing with intense pressure in the final few weeks...

I see that the Sunday 18th May v Ipswich is due to a new ruling / policy of having the F.A. Cup Final on the penultimate Saturday with no PL games that day or on the Friday. That's presuming we're not in it!

I'm with you, could be dead and buried by then.  However, if still in touch its a great run in

I'd say it's very very unlikely there would be any sort of strike action during the first few months of a labour government!

MW35 (LCFC v Southampton)  17 March - 21 March
MW36 (F****t v LCFC)  24 March - 28 March
MW37 (LCFC v Ipswich)  31 March - 4 April
MW38 (Bournemouth v LCFC)  Post MW37 (so could be as late as 20 May if there's a Monday night game)

Edited the above to make it clear which LCFC matches the last 4 dates refer to, and to give a date for "Post MW37". 

 

Note the PL are calling these announcement dates provisional.

On reflection, I'm quite happy with the fixtures.

 

A concern I had was us potentially starting the season 6/9 points behind and having a nightmare start fixture wise that would put massive amounts of pressure on the new manager. 

 

Only playing 2 of the top 6 in the first 3 months will potentially give the new man the chance to get a bit of momentum before the tough runs of games come.
