Wout you need an agent who comes up with plausible links, nobody is going to believe this for even a second.

He'll leave when his contract runs out, nobody will ever buy him. Utter liability.

His agent is better off just turning his phone off and enjoying his life rather than waste his time with stuff like this.

He may not be everyone's favourite and prone to the occasional lapse but generally he's ok but Vestergaard with 3 year deal against the likes of Son and Watkins is more concerning.

Nah . Watkins won’t get a sniff against big Jannik

The story isn't as crazy as it might seem, Spurs were also linked with him last season.

Hansi Flick took over at Barcelona and he plays the most insane high line in football. Suicidally high in fact. Faes is at his best when he is being aggressive and in that sort of system I could see why they might want him. He wants to keep the ball 70% of the time and as soon as they lose it, to win it back within 7 seconds. Faes was also pretty good on the ball, going on some great runs last season. If your entire team is made up of good players, CBs like him can work. Dortmund fans thought Akanji was awful, but won the treble with Pep. Ake another not considered good enough for Chelsea, but won it all at Man City.

That said, for me Faes has always been a huge risk. Loses the flight of ball badly and makes too many rash challenges and for those reasons is a bit of a liability at Premier League level. Soyuncu had similar issues. Fofana was the one that combined all of the aspects succesfully before getting injured, he was aggressive getting the ball back but didn't make too many stupid mistakes.

Not sure he will get a move to Barca but I think he wants to leave if he can (based on his recent interview ahead of the Euros) and I think the club would be open to letting him go because, despite everything, he is one of the few current players we could get a decent fee for (he is first choice for a top international team after all). If we can flog him and get Theate on loan with an option to buy that would make a lot of sense financially.

He'd actually do alright at a team that doesn't have to defend as much, plays a high line and passes it out from the centre backs.

I'm not saying he's the same standard of Man City defenders but it's funny how good some of their defenders look in their set up but when asked to actually do a bit of defending for their national team look absolutely awful.

Certainly wouldn't be Barcelona's strangest signing either recently.

What an agent he must have - I could do with him in my 121 next week.

18 years  without getting an outperforming - I need someone to step up and let it be known just how god damn good I am
