Clearly his best position is behind the striker and not in the wing. Like to see him have a good run of fitness because he’s very handy at this level and we haven’t got many options behind the striker.

He is potentially one of, if not the most important player for us over the next month because we lose him and we are in serious trouble in putting an attacking midfielder on the pitch. You can't even really play Ayew there as Daka is off to AFCON after next week so we really are thin on the ground.

 

I think he drops a hatty in a game this season, can just see him having one of those games where everything goes in.

We are not thin on the ground by losing Daka.  Heres an idea, when he goes to Africa can he stay there permanently.  He is absolutely woeful, awful player.

Erm well we are, as we have only Ayew and Carranza. We currently have one attacking midfielder too. Thats quintessential thin.

There's got to be somebody in our youth teams that we can try? Playing Daka is like playing with ten men so it can't be any worse.

Very good the last few games. Will be interesting to see if he continues to start once Ramsey is back in the squad. But on a great run of form at the moment.  Looking like the experienced head that we hoped we were getting

When Ramsey is back I wouldn't be shocked to see Marti try him as the 9 for a game or 2.  We've got no Daka, Ayew probably can't play there every game and Carranza is a cardboard cutout.

Interesting shout, he's played as a striker for a long time earlier in his career.

He'll have his work cut out because most have already made their minds up about him.

 

I still don't agree with the purchase, but he's due a lot of praise with his turn of form.

 

Hopefully the form remains. Don't think Ramsey will be a threat, he'll be back in the treatment room before he wins back his spot.

He's got a proper football brain, you can see he's ahead of other players a lot of the time. His weight of pass is great too, and he knows how to finish. Great at this level.
